Aretha is one of my favorite artists. However, the original version is from Clivilles & Cole (later known as C & C Music Factory) and is, in my opnion, the best version.

I bought this CD when it came out in the early 90's....Aretha did it justice! However, I must say that I did just take another peek at the Mel B/Maks performance here on Youtube, and the singer and her backing singers were fierce--especially considering it was live tv!
