ahhhh!!! the Three Degrees - so HOTTTT!!! so SEXY!! all captured in that rare moment when everyone did their home work: the choreographer - the set designer - the costumer - the cameraman - the lighting crew -- everyone got it together and gave us an unforgettable 70's moment which added 10,000 volts to the three degrees.
this is one video i just cant get enough of i think these ladies are so hot and the set is so nice why cant these freaks today get wind of this shit? rhianna or bounce lol cant hole a candle to this these girls are so sexy with out all the stage act they dont need it hot hot hot thanks philadelphia gambel and huff i owe u
Heel mooi!! Ik ga dit playbacken met mijn vriendinnen in juni. Als ik dit liedje luister op de computer dan zing ik altijd mee en het gaat steeds beter!!!
It is amazing that three degrees is still singing and sometimes they still sing this song. I love the song, but I feel that it was a lot more appropriate for them when they sang it back in the 70s because they were young. Now it just seems a little strange for them to continue singing this since now they are all old. They should have made a new song parallel to this song but singing about a dirty young man who wants to pursue much older women.
I remember owning this album, back in the day. What most clearly come's to mind is that the inside cover, show the lady's in a see throuth dress. Almost went blind because of it PEACE.
@doh1959 and what about me , i am 5 years older than you , when this song was in the charts , i am sure that it was at the end of 73 and early 74 ,i had a girl friend , she was younger ( 18 ) and i was almost 20 ,where were that times,
omg my memories of the staked up 45z,,i wz still a kid but i had ma older sisters tennis racket and i wz da best guitarist at skool..haha i cld play crokadile rock mean as maori
Beautiful performance. I just happened to look them up because they were on an episode of Sanford and Son and I wanted to see what they were like. Very nice.
Man...I wish my deceased father could've been around long enough to see vids like this uploaded. I remember him rockin listening to these girls around the house.
oh this is such a beautiful song, since1975 i was in San Francisco,to now Valerie, Sheila and Fayette with their beautiful voices give so much joy brings back good memories each time more enjoyable, thanks ladies:) by the way a few days ago i had a dream, this song playing, beautiful ladies, 3degrees being interviewed current time i was gonna talk to them thought we're same age50s still young would love to hear u sing again so quoting u "when wil i see u again?" love,ur fan travis:)
This is why I love Sirius/XM!! I'd never heard this tune until it played on satellite radio recently..now I'm on here looking up the tunes they played.
I believe it's the 1970s 1980s show "Musikladen" or something similar on the Norddeutsche Rundfunk. At least the whole use of the camera and especially the logo "N3" seems familiar to me.
hey loretta...it does have that german kind of look, doesn't it!? i'm thinking of that munich disco stuff like silver convention that came a bit later and which took a lot from philly...interesting. thanks!
helen was in the band briefly in the mid-60s and then returned--to replace fayette--about 1976. the classic philly-period line-up was these 3 beauties!
I have begun to realise that though the british concept was that Sheila was the lead, this was not in fact the truth. The Three Degrees took turns at taking the lead as many of their predecesors did. In much of their earlier work Valerie and Fayette sang lead vocals. They were all fantastic singers and deserve equal recognition.
I have this album and this is a favorite cut from that album ... Oh yeah and if anyone got that album remember that full body pic with all three of them in them sheer catsuits, Oh Yeah LOL
no leader as such; three different personalities, three different degrees. but, we should say that the most 'hits' were lead by sheila. nevertheless, during concerts they all did their own part. the supremes were completly different at this point were diana sung 95% of the time.
My teperature has risen more than 3 degrees watching this. I remenber seeing them 2 -3 times in Birmingham during the late 70's. The 3 degrees are the only thing I have in common with Prince Charles. He loved them I so do I. When will I see them again?
Saw them perform this last night! Although the memebers have changed, the sound is still AWESOME. Fayette was in the audience last night. It was nice to see here with the group. It speaks a lot for them. New members, but they are still PHYNE!!!!!!!
Sheila was clearly the focus of the group, she had everything the face, the voice and the body. I always had a bit of a soft spot for Valerie who looks absolutely gorgeous and stunning in this video.
When this song was released I was a teen and I loved it as much as the girls. Now I'm a dirty old man, but I'm still not offended. Thanks for posting this...
Pure classic song. These ladies got it! Style, class and did I mention talent? They're all incredibly beautiful but Sheila is just drop dead gorgeous!
In the early 80,s I was in Bangkok with two other friends, one from Wales and one from Vancouver and I asked the Thai girl on the pirate cassette street stall if she had The Three Degrees singing Dirty Old Man, she replied "Ugha" which is Thai for "Ugha" in English. She then said "you sing" so all three of us Blokes started to sing Your,e a dirty old man, etc and also to dance in line, it bought the traffic and pedestrians to an almost halt, Mad Farrangs!
This was definitely a 70's HIGH FASHION look, even the audience looks like they stepped out of Vogue. These girls could sing WAY better than the Supremes!
I can't believe I'd never heard this song before today. Not only were these girls HOT HOT HOT!! but they can harmonize like nobody;s business. Aewsome song!
I remember this great song. This was my first time ever to see a drag show. It was a fabulous song and show. It was a fun time and brings back many memories.
One of my favorite all-time groups that I remember listening to when I was a teenager. Does anyone have performances of them singing, When Will I See You Again (in English)?
