  • Best break I have seen so far!

  • he doesn't have a shot after this :))

  • I used to drop all nine balls on the break every time. Then, I took an arrow in the knee,

  • yup, too bad about that 2 ball. lol

  • tay de` manh nhat Dong Xuyen ak`

  • what a joke that he doesn't win the rack, fucking nine ball...

  • BOOOOOOOOM

  • Has anybody potted all the balls right from the break?

  • @Barthez0045 that's logically impossible I think. But i've seen a vid where the 9th ball went down after the break and it counted as a win

  • nice dude!

  • amazing!!!!!

  • wow...from all those fakes, this one is real & really good =D

  • WHY DID HE LINE IT UP FOR LIKE 23 DAYS?!

  • trips me out with that kind of break.... the 9 moves a few inches

  • @stiven86 That's because with a very tight rack, like you're now seeing in a lot of international tournaments, the nine ball doesn't move. On a home table or a pool hall table with dented cloth, you will almost never get a rack as tight as that.

  • Wow...

  • ok, being a pool player for the last 35 years I will say this. It is only a fantastic break if you can play afterwards. A slamming break is completely useless if it puts you back in your chair.

  • @OldSkaterGuy

"Being a pool player for the last 35 years" doesn't mean you know anything.

    Power: he exploded the rack.

Cue ball control: after impact, the cue ball died right at center table. Perfect.

    0:31

If the 2-Ball and 8-Ball collide a few millimeters differently, the 2-Ball doesn't snuggle up against the 9 and he's got an easy out. It was an awesome break. The fact that he got an unfortunate roll takes NOTHING away from that.

  • @bushputz I drop 5 balls all the time and do not even try to hit the rack so hard.. Not impressed at all. yawn

  • @OldSkaterGuy

"I drop 5 balls all the time..."

I hate stupid people who think they can get away with this kind of lie.

  • @bushputz you can hate it all you want.. Every time I play I drop all 9 balls. Get a big mouth full of my nutts, dickweed.

  • @OldSkaterGuy

Show this video to any excellent player, including the pros and they'll say the same thing: It was an incredible break, but he got an unfortunate roll.

  • you should see alex pagulayan's break! he pocketed 6 balls but failed to clear the table..

  • sana gumanda uli laro niya. actually sila ni alcano, gomez, corteza. sana dumami pa mga pinoy na manlalaro

  • personally i would prefer a break where i can see the next ball rather than making 6 balls and giving it to my opponent..

  • he lost this rack too lol

  • Absolutely awesome break, so unlucky to land sh*t on the 2

  • I tride that once and the cue ball flew of the table :(

  • Search '魔王開球進了6顆' just copy n paste.

Hong-Xiong Wang from Taiwan broke almost 7 balls in...

one of the best i'v ever seen

  • @tzytnt2007 i saw the video.it was stupid.the balls weren't racked up in a 9-ball racking format.

  • somone tell me this guy`s break speed

  • that was just his medium speed break, you should see his hard break

  • Does anybody know how this match ended?

  • BEAST.

  • now you snooker your opponent tight behind the 9ball... and send the object ball of the short rail back to the 9ball...

  • Oh my GOSH xD

  • porca troiaaaa :-O

  • with him it called 4 ball.

  • De Lunas has an animal break man..... damn....

  • the best break i ever saw, but unfortunate!

  • I have made 5 on the break before, and one of them was the 9-ball. It's only happened once.

  • yes, he won that rack

  • One time I made 4 balls plus the nine in an APA match... not to brag. :P

Of course it was lucky, I don't even know where the cue ball ended up, and that guy is much better than me.

  • check that man for steroids

  • did he win the game or not???

  • Wondered how he carried on with that frame. Unless he potted that 2-ball, it would be hard to play a safety considering the number of balls left on the table...

  • Cueball controll?

  • Hitting the one ball full while exercising that amount of power and stopping the cue ball instantaniously is quite a skill.

  • lakunas23, no its not. Completing a 147 break in snooker is a skill!!

  • To be honest, a snooker maximum is a huge achievement and a test of real skill... In pool that would probably equal running the table an awful lot of racks. I compete for some time now (pool) and the break is vital in most games, you gotta break a lot to get this good. That in most players opinion is skill. Oh, and I also like snooker a lot:)

  • @coltsuperocean10 theyre two different kinds of skills...

  • where is the skill in that? he pocketed several balls and made the cue ball squat, that takes talent

  • @MilltowneMike it takes practicing

  • i knew jeff when he was younger.. like 15years old. he's really a great player..

old men and other players asks him for a match with money to bet.

he would win, he would buy us softdrinks..

    hehheeh

  • whats the cue he is using in this break shot?

  • @Godomipo $150,000 McDermott cue.

  • bullshit. prove it and we'll see.

  • that was a good break.

  • well francisco bustamante make 8 balls in just 1 break but that was a long time ago 1994 if im correct and no one can still beat that...

  • ows? where is the video?h

  • good break, but i made 6 once many yrs ago and 5 on a couple of occassions--and yes, even at the age of 50,i can still break like king kong---a friend of mine made 6 on the break as well against me and he won the tourney as well

  • @blueiseverything

Well... at least you admit your knowledge level...

  • Mario He (from Austria. Maybe some of you know him) did a break like that at the EC's last week! And the 7th ball was standing about 2 inches off the cornerpocket... That was a break!!!

  • Yeah, I also witnessed that Break . As you said, the 7 Ball was right in the jaws of the corner pocket, the cue ball on a straight line with the 8 and a stpshot on the 8 would have given him perfect, straight-in shape on the 9 ball. Perfect break !!!

  • My god!!!

  • did he win this frame?

  • no he didn't

  • @Gabenvagyok hahhahaha/.... 5 balls on the break and he loses?

  • what spin did he use, ussually they put outside or something to make the one in the side. any one think they know?

  • @pigdisposal low inside

  • woot!!!!

  • ? verdammt was ist passiert ,..

  • Not that it happens very often, but it seems like every time I've seen somebody make 5 or more balls on the break they NEVER get a good shot on the object ball. EVER. lol

  • shoulda pushed, its becase to get that good of a hit its extremely difficult to get good control of the cue ball

  • @TASK104 I think Pagulayan did once, however he ended up missing that shot cuz it was next to the rail? i think he got 6 balls on the break.

  • @TASK104 very true! my dad sinked 5 balls at the break but no shot on the next object ball. then i remembered your comment!lol

  • @TASK104

lmao, this is true, I have made 6 balls on the snap on 1 occasion and I was left with the #3, #7 & #9 on the table, and I was hooked behind the 7 ball :) lol, also there's a video on youtube of Alex Pagulayan making 6 on the snap and he doesn't get out either and so, it just goes to show that 9Ball is an unpredictable game which makes it all the more enjoyable to play :)

  • @TASK104 except pagulayan.. but he misses it

  • brilliant!

  • Hammer!!

  • sensational..

  • is that Nick Halling with the commentary, (british guy?)

  • that's a beast of a break but does anybody know what cue he uses?

  • not sure but i don't think his break is down to the cue he uses i think it is mor to do with practice

  • i'm sure that he is using a Mezz break cue now, but in the video it's surly not a Mezz PB (the video is from the WPC 2006)

  • @moriz786 it actually doesnt matter that much, seeing from him it was the technique, he could do that with any breakcue

  • @moriz786t he particular cue is a sledgehammer made then by gulyassy cues , now produced by mcdermott

  • tuff break there with the 2-ball my PB is 5 balls though :) and something like that happened so I couldn't finish the game :D

  • easily the best power breaker on the planet i wish more players would break like this it would make the game so much more exciting. watch the way his whole body goes up in the air on some of his other breaks its amazing how he doesnt lose any acuracy. must have practiced that for years

  • either he practiced it for years or he has beaten alot of people to get it.

  • De Luna's break is my absolute favorite and is my ideal model. I just love how the cue stops dead after it hits the rack. Any idea how to emulate that?? I think I remember De Luna losing that rack, ironically, due to the bad roll of the 2. Thanks for posting this!

  • No top or bottom, and hit the head ball full in the face - it will stop in the middle of the table somewhere unless it gets kicked by anotherball
