The music remembers you the Lamento della Ninfa because of the basso continuo... Is the same ostinato basso (la, sol, fa, mi).

Gio. Felice Sances was trained in Rome, and published this in _Cantade_ (1633); as you say, it's much like Lamento della ninfa. Sances later served in Vienna, where he was a renowned composer of opera and sacred music.
