  • When was this??

  • @RsGhost1 before he got his wireless cable systems lol

  • @420PeeJay Yeah you pretty much have to lol. I wish the sound was normal volume because it's my favorite video probably.

  • can any one plz tell me what arpeggios did he played @ 6:10 !?! ...

  • @letsplaywiththunder awsome ones

  • @destroyersteak

lolx! yes, he surely is awesome!

  • And delay

  • joe satriani teached steve vai, kirk hammett, and prob many others....i love his style of playing and melodies....i grew up listening to his stuff albums like the extremist, flying in a blue drem, surfing with the alien, crystal planet, etc.

one of the best guitarists around!!!!!!

  • That is copied from other vid

  • Yeah I know, But that's what I think abt joe seriously.....SO SOMETIMES BEING LAZY IS OK....LOL

  • HAHHA, I would copy it too, I think the same

  • Since when is he playing on Eb tune?? Wow...slightly different approach...but I like it :)

  • Awesome performance

    Bow

  • what are some other melodic joe S tunes? just discovered him (newbie)

  • @anthonya13 You probably found them in the 4 months since you posted, but.... Crystal Planet, Made of Tears, and Searching are excellent ones to look into as well. (keeping with the "melodic"/laid back feel)

  • what is the effect used from 2:40 to about the 3:08 ,,,Whatever it is it's beautiful

  • man this is just great:D

Does any1 know how he get such a fat tone in 2:04? when i play at fret 22 then its like knifes in your ear..

So plz tell me if any1 knows

  • understand that it starts with the arrangement he is not tryint to be a speed merchant as most of the melody is mid neck and the amp is not distorted to hell and back he is also using a wah to modulate the signal and prob mult micing the amp

  • what do u mean with mult micing?

  • when i recor an amp with 2 or more speakers ill use 3 mics. A sure sm57 and a senn heiser md 421close miked plus my akg as a room mic

  • anyone know the bass players name? I like his fills but i know its not stu

  • @Obelisk2290 That's Matt Bissonette.

  • @edwargo thanks

  • i dont care if im famous or not, I want a guitar rig like that, and i wanna be able to play like him!

  • Er........fuck me!.......even by Joe's standards, that is fucking phenomenal!....:)

  • sloopy arpeggios?!

  • @LucasPro It's funny to see people criticizing pro guitarists at their work when they cannot even write properly themselves.

  • SATRIANI + WEED

  • i think its better then the san francisco one

  • Wow man, the guitar is the lead singer! Go Jo Go ! Turn it way up :)

  • Hahahahahahah ... you know Joe was gettin "HIGH" off these fumes .... lol.

  • Cuando,

  • Pedal fodástico..

    wah wah bem trabalhado...

  • damnit i want to find one with the weird intro

  • still kicks ass!

  • Am I the only person that thinks that Matt Bisonette is f**king shit? Took a great little slap bassline and turned it into crap. Bring back Stu !!

  • After just seeing this vid I think it is safe to assume that yes, you are probably the only one who thinks this guy plays poorly.

  • You aren't the only one!!

  • best live version yet i think

  • This was freaking good the best version of the crush of love i've ever heard, keep on rockin' joe and thanks sharing

...By the way nice pants Satch lol

  • I know, whats with the pants? Who's he think he is, Vai? Lol.

  • Ey waarom is die geluid so zacht...ook al zet ik em op zn hardst...maar tog thnx for posting this video...RESPECT

  • the bassist is Matt Bissonette

  • Does anyone know the names of the rhythm section players

  • the drummer is Jeff Campatelli. the bass player i do not recognize. unseen in the backround is Eric Coideaux, he plays keyboards and rythm guitar.

  • thanks bassist is not stu hamm thats why i asked

  • the drummer is jeff CAPITELLI and the bassist is matt bissonette

  • Wow this is probably the best version i've seen him play besides the Live in San Fransisco version. Love it :3

  • Never seen this before (awesome outro), when was this filmed?

  • The outro is based on the intro (and recurring motif) of another really great Satch song, Memories.
