I never understood why the game was called "pool". I mean, where's the water...I had a pool table a long time ago & I got reasonable. But just as that happened, we moved and got rid of it. Daaaamn :(

An English man came out to Australia over 100 years ago and was one the founders/promoters of the worlds best goldmine and later copper mine of the times. He retired to England on an Estate with the Worlds first glass bottom pool Snooker/Billards room under it, refreshments were Rum, snuff(cocaine), cigars and port. All the while girls were swimming naked in the Glass Bottom Swimming pool above. And when the money started running out he shot off to arabia drilled/discovered oil ... what a life.
