  • Made in Japan as always.

  • And all the time the pilot never thought to retract the landing gears...

  • can you say C-17? with 2 engines

  • Big like C5 Galaxy USA made??

  • hello kinsei1560! Could you kindly identify the music?

  • no quad engins!? now thats elite lol

  • no quad engins!? now thats elite lol

  • IL 76

  • BONZAI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrFattyfatfatboy lol, it's BANZAI foo, Bonsai is their art of mini trees.

  • @kryptoniterxn117 you ever heard of ironie

  • Well its a two engined c-17 but surely a great product

  • I have seen some of your comments about this C-2 being cheap, well it's not a cheap version of our C-17's at all, how do i know this? I am working as an engineer for a company providing systems and naceles for the CF6-80's for both the C-5M's and the C-2's, and the Japanese Military's specs are as high as ours. Why they don't need our C-5M's and C-17's is to ones' guess; and to assure you this is surely a great plane. After this one, we are on to Embraer's KC-390. Looking fwd to all the fun!

  • @psupccea well actually the Japanese C-1 was made in 1970 and the American C-17a was from 1991 so really if you're going to say things like that, it's the Americans who have a cheap copy. Right?

  • From what I have read it fits into the class that the C-130 is in but has twice the lifting capacity.

  • ...NICE

  • Congratulations, Japanese people! Awesome aircraft !

  • Beautiful bird. I took a ride on a C-1 back in my old Navy days. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I thought a JASDF C-1 was the same as a USN C-1, with was an old avgas driven cargo plane. It was an awesome ride. The JASDF folks were practicing short landings and fast turnarounds. They kicked me out the door, dropped five pallets and were back in the air before I got the dust brushed off the seat of my pants.

  • Somebody ,Tell me why it's flying with gear down....

  • @drgentlewolf

it's usual in first flights to fly with the gear down; if anything else goes wrong you don't want to wrestle the gear down - or you don't want your gear to fail in your first flight, especially in front of press/cameras, etc.

  • @sajo2010 But then they can't test maximum speed.....

  • Long Live Japan!

  • @psupccea white yankee racsim kid !

  • @inouelenhatduy

I m tellin. nothin; but the truth.

  • @inouelenhatduy

i m tellin' nothin' but the truth; cheap copy of US C-17A buds~~~~~

  • @inouelenhatduy

i m tellin' nothin' but the truth; cheap copy of US C-17A buds~~~~~

  • @psupccea soo c17A is a cheap copy of C1 YA ?

  • @inouelenhatduy

Product of Japan and China are cheap stuff based on cheap labor~~

  • @psupccea

Japanese copy everything from US and Europe from Pop music, English Fritos to high tech goods~~~~~~

  • @psupccea american vs japanese who more cheap labor ! 100% american is more cheap labor than japanese ! and why u kip telling chinese and japanese the same lol ! u fk idiot american yankee kid

  • @inouelenhatduy

    idiot japanese as i think.

  • @psupccea idiot yankee kid

  • mini-globemaster

  • Nice and smooth landing.

  • it looks like a c-17 with 2 engins

  • Being that it's Japan-made, the C-2 can also transform into Mobile Suit Gundam!

  • @wpariah YES AND ALL THE F-22'S CAN TRANSFORM INTO STARSCREAM WHILE ALL THE F-35'S TRANSFORM INTO BREAKAWAY. -_-

  • lol, looks like shit...reminds me of the C-5 and the IL-76.

  • @wilfredotour2 FYI, the IL-76 is one of the most efficient and useful cargo planes in the world. It is so good, that USA own a couple of them and the NATO uses it as part of their fleet.

  • NICE. Beautiful silhouette.

  • C-1(1970 JPN),C-17(1991 USA),C-2(2010 JPN)

  • @16DDHhyuga good point... And the story continues YC-15 (1975 USA), YC-14 (1976 USA), AN-72 (1977 RUS)

  • japan is so tiny be careful you might run our of airspace lol

  • he a NippoNov ;-)

  • Where the statistics for this peice of work?

  • looks like they took a c-17 and mated it with an antonov. way to be original.

  • @theaveragejoker i don't see how you can be original on a cargo plane they should all look the same

  • Talk about Greasing a landing! Thats one super smooth landing. Looks like a C-17 Globemaster III little brother.

  • smoothest landing ever!

  • @praetorian2150 yeah!, the landing gears didnt even smoke!

  • Looks like an Antonov if you ask me.

  • GUNDAM!!!!!

  • o.o ... wow.... really effing smooth landing

  • Very nice aircraft. A much needed upgrade from the C-1. It has more thrust to weight ratio than a C-17. I like!

  • Cheers to the people of Japan for building such a beautiful transport plane.

Congratulations on its first flight, she looks great and I'm sure she'll be

every bit as efficient as the plane it is to replace.

Nice plane with those big fat engines.

  • @GevaarlijkeGek its funny because those engines look normal on a A330!!

  • @Nesto885 that is very true, under an A330 I even find them a bit small.

  • @GevaarlijkeGek yeah your right but i reckon they suit the A330 and they sound awesome!

  • @akigatuo

    >白地に赤いライン

    試作機塗装ですけどね

  • @deathstrike44 見たいですね^^ 他の試作機も同じ塗装だったので気が付きましたが、にしてもやっぱり綺麗な配色だなぁ~と思います♪ それとゆったりと飛ぶ姿がブルーインパルスが空のイルカなら、これは空の鯨みたいな感じでやはりいいなぁ~とv

  • Japan should try to make planes .

  • @drgentlewolf Japan makes planes just letting you know

  • @ManabuKempfer I meant main jet fighters used to protect our country ,japan.

  • @drgentlewolf yes it actually is made in japan. maybe tech from US but japan redesign develop the technology perfect it

  • @ManabuKempfer agree!

  • It's the best-looking plane in its class. Certainly a prettier sight than the An-70 and IL-76!

  • Looks soo amazing! I really do like watching japanese aviation taking a step forward. With this, the kawasaki OH-1 and with a new possible 5:th generation fighter coming in fast, Kawasaki will sweep the world of its feet! Great Job and nice video!

  • Yes Japan, build more planes!

  • It Time To REPLACE OLD AMERICAN C -130 FOR TO JUNK YARD.

  • Amazed the Japs dont build more aircraft. That is a gorgeous aircraft that looked like it belonged in the sky and flew effortless. Well done!!

  • I'm just curious, would you guys tell me why each and every first flight of a new aircraft always had the landing gears permanently retracted even when they were in high altitudes? just curious. nice plane btw. kawasaki is good.

  • @brent07 It's a safety thing. First you prove it flies. THEN you prove the gear works as intended.

  • @Kneedragon1962

Thanks man, Now I know. =]

  • for a big plane. it flies really well

  • watta hunka junk

  • that looks like a short fat 767

  • @VerdugoCityRider Doesn't look like at all.

  • What is the difference between this, obviously experimental model, and the current c-2?

  • Looks very nice.

  • Why they keep the gear down all fly long?

  • In Japan, a country full of danger. Strengthen more the United States and trained a lot better.

  • It doesn't have the C-17 tail section, but covers a common design.

  • sweet plane even the russians have an chalenge of which plane is the best :D

  • Comment removed

  • very good~

    well done~!

  • Wow, what an amazing plane! It's so big, and it flies so majestically! It must have been a truly magnificent site to behold! Japan makes amazing machines, and this is no exception! Great video!

  • Rofl are you an idoit? Kawasaki is a well known name in quality industry.. Probably the best.. So there will be no problems...

  • @TheeFreakiishlyz If it was such excellent quality why do they need to make batteries, lawnmowers, chainsaws, motorbikes, leaf blowers, waterblasters? Kawasaki the best in the industry? doubtful. If its like their cars, they won't last long.

  • @TheeFreakiishlyz Though you sure this thing will fly? Looking at it, it seems way too bulky to perform in shitty weather.

  • Except Toyota......jk.......not really

  • @niHonRanDomSnippeR hey what are they going to put in there its so small o wait you asians are so small you could fit all of china in there it has 2 engines that probly technoligy that u stole or we told u about once you can make a plane that could at least fit a tank inside of then u could say the plane is good

  • @kirbyroxy You've probably never even been close to an air plane douchebag. Those things are bigger than you look, it could probably fit multiple tanks inside there.

  • @kirbyroxy Japanese military is for domestic use only. Airplane for cago is also. Tank is transported by train and truck in Japan. Plane for tank will not be developed in Japan. The engine is made by GE.

    kkkkkkkk

  • Parece com o projeto do KC-390 da Embraer.
