Considering the context of the movie, this theme seems somewhat out of place. The entire series is a mishmash or torture porn, but the soundtrack was fantastic and not forboding or scary in any way.

torture porn!? have you ever seen torture porn? this was not pornographic torture, this was just plain torture. porn torture involves sex. show me a scene in the saw movies where someone is having sex, or at least masturbating. and the theme goes perfectly, because the whole point of the movie was people caught in traps that were escapable so that if they escaped they would value their life more.

Yeah your right. But the first movie was kind of good. Like it wasnt the best movie ive seen.. and it wont even rank with the top 10 horror movies ive seen either.. but still it was kind of nasty. But i hated the ending! And yes, this theme is fantastic!
