Instead of getting the psp go, just upgrade your psp with custom firmware, you can download ps1 games and play them on the 3000, or you can download gameboy games, nintendo games, super nintendo, n64, there working on converting the psp 3000 to play ds games and xbox 1 games. Custom firmware also alows you to store games on your memory cards so you dont have to lug around umd's, and create back up copies of the ones you do have.

psp go uses flash memory the same kind the iphone and the zune 8gb uses. The ipod classic uses a mini hdd can go beyond 100gb but takes up much space compared to a flash chip, however flash memory is much more expensive. So in order for the Psp Go to keep its small figure, it is equip with flash.

In my opinion I think that it would be a great investment on the PspGo because its all digital media, i dont like the fact that i would still have to carry around the UMD disks and have the risk of the case breaking all of a sudden if i drop it or whatever, plus i hate swapping the disks whenever i get bored of a game....and i think it would be much easier to use a PspGo for that reason.
I mean you may not see much of a reason why you should get it, but you will probably see reasons why later

We all know the pros and cons of the 3000 and Go.
Setting that aside can't decide what to buy?
Its very simple really just ask yourself.
Do you want a PSP that can play all the games available in UMD and DD? Get a 1000/2000/3000
Do you want a PSP that is more portable but sacrifices the ability to play all the games since it can only play DD games? Get a Go.
Its as simple as that no more mumbo jumbo about the 3000 sucks the Go is the best and vice versa.
