A lot of people dont seem to realize that when black tide originally recorded the demos for light from above, Gabriel was like 12. Now he is 19 and obviously has a different voice which he cant control. Since his voice is different they had to change the style to make it sound good with his new voice. Personally I like both styles.
Black Tide still isn't a metalcore band... I don't know what to call them but not metalcore... Metalcore is more Killswitch and All That Remains... <_<

From what I heared in an interview... Gabriel said that it's going to be released in February. They don't have a title yet, but he said it's probably going to be self titiled... just Black Tide.

@itsEvident Show me a band that started around 2004 (like Black Tide did), who plays this style. Do you find any? I don't think so. These guys holds REAL heavy metal music alive!! Not like those shitty deathcore bands that makes me puke even more than the girl with anorexia that all the deathcore texts is about. Black Tide is the real deal!

From what I heared in an interview... Gabriel said that it's going to be released in February. They don't have a title yet, but he said it's probably going to be self titiled... just Black Tide.

@jonathonbrujo Yeah it's probably just that song bro.Not to mention that's not the studio version,just be patient I doubt Gabriel would change te style of the band that much.The biggest gripe I have is that the guitarist left and the new is not as good.

their first three albums are great, i haven't heard all of hcdr, i started with are you dead yet which i liked a lot, and bloodrunk is ok, but their newer stuff wasn't a good direction for them

@RattleSnakeHead yes it is sadly. when your young and unsigned it dont matter but when a label picks you up appearances become crucial especially in todays music trends. look at any modern band in rock or metal. there is a certain unifor for each genre. the only exception is death metal. you just gotta look scary or angry lol
