@ChristianBeatmusic I first taught myself using a grammar book and audio tapes by George A. Hadjiontoniou and Dr. Spiros Zodhiates. I then took some classes at Talbot School of Theology. You're welcome. People need to have the facts. Make sure you see part two.
If you were going to Translate the Hebrew name which meant YaHuWaH's Salvation Jesus is the WRONG path to take! The J did not exist and the SUS in Latin means PIG/SWING and in Hebrew SUS means HORSE! So basically you have Ye's Pig or Ye's Horse, if you do translate names which is the transition of the meaning from one language to the next please show me how Je'sus carries the same meaning!
@FollowerofYahuwah Ok, this is getting stupid and so I will try to help you understand some things, and let this go. I don't have time for foolishness. Go to my second video and LEARN how we got the name"Jesus" and why. If you don't know Hebrew and Greek, then you have NO business talking about what is the "wrong" way to go. The early "J" had a "Y" sound and THAT is why it was initially used. What part of that simple fact don't you get? ....
@FollowerofYahuwah And who told you that the "sus" at the end of the name came from "Latin" and means "pig." Nonsense. The "sus" comes from the original Greek. LEARN some basic facts. And the fact that "sus" is hoarse in Hebrew has NOTHING to do with the Greek, which is where the "sus" in ENGLISH comes from. So you have learned absolute foolish nonsense.
I like how you call people out for blocking or restricting what you say and then you do the exact same thing! I cannot even respond to prove you WRONG! Anyways later Freemason!
@FollowerofYahuwah I don't block people without REASON, as stated on my main channel page. I merely SCREEN comments. You can't prove me wrong because you have no working or accurate knowledge of the original languages. Freemason? LOL. Now that's a joke.
My question to you is this, if you know that the name was NOT originally Jesus and that all the "Translated" versions of the name began with a "Y" sound and the "J" sound didn't exist until about 400 years ago, then WHY do you push and use the name Jesus and not use Iesous for example? Jesus is NOT the "English" translation and if you must use a new form with a "J" sound why would you not use Joshua? Joshua the son of Nun had the same name as the BRANCH and Yahuwshuwa is that BRANCH!
The FALSE "English" Transliteration is JOSHUA or Jehoshua, look at Hebrews 4:8 in the KJV and in the NIV! One says Jesus and the other says Joshua, look at the Biblica Hebraica, the name Joshua is replaced with Yahoshua. We know they were speaking HEBREW and Jesus is NOT an English name, the correct rendition in English is Joshua as per the translators so where did Jesus even come from? Hebrew-Yahuwshuwa Greek-Iesous Latin-Iesvs English Joshua ?-Jesus
@FollowerofYahuwah The answers to your questions are in my part 2. I suggest you watch it and learn. I am not ignorant of the languages, since I know both Hebrew and Greek. Jesus and the apostles ALSO spoke Greek and had Greek names.
Arthur and Arturo SOUND THE SAME or atleast close! Yahuwshuwa and Jesus DO NOT SOUND EVEN CLOSE! Josephus Flavius stated in his writings that the Greeks made them change names of people and places to a Greek sounding version. Then that was called Hellenization but now we call it Westernization!
@FollowerofYahuwah But languages are not just about sounds. And that still does not explain why they add an "o" to my name, and take away my "h." The point is, people who don't know the ins and outs of languages and don't know the languages, and can only look up things in Strong's need to STOP acting as if they know languages and how they work, and learn from those who do.
@CRoadWarrior2 They were incorrect to do so, you only translate a name when trying to carryover the MEANING of that name, BUT the majority of times you are to TRANSLITERATE as names are PROPER NOUNS and they carry over! Jesus is wrong in BOTH translation and Transliteration! Transliterate means to reproduce the sound and Yahuwshuwa and Jesus do NOT sound the same, but Jesus is NOT even close for the translation of the meaning!
@FollowerofYahuwah You do not know the languages, and therefore you are speaking nonsense. Like someone trying to tell a brain surgeon how to do surgery when he has NO expertise in surgery. LOL. You're done here. I don't have time to waste with your kind of foolishness. Maybe when you have watched my second video and LEARNED how we got to the name "Jesus" you will understand your error. But if you want to be ignorant, that is on you before God.
@FollowerofYahuwah And that has NO bearing on this issue. The fact is, long ago the Jews translated their Yashua into the Greek Iesous, which when turned into English became Jesus. Not a problem for those who actually know the languages.
WHY when these pastors go to other countries do they not change Je'sus to the translation of the language in that country, rather they still promote that name Je'sus which is a Greekinized,Latinized name with a new pronounciation? They don't even follow their own rules! I have seen bibles in other languages and guess what, they say JESUS and not a translated new name! If they can promote this new name world wide regardless of the language why can't they do the same to the HEBREW name?
You still say Satan which is a Hebrew name, Gabriel the Angel is a Hebrew name, Adam which means MAN in Hebrew is Not changed, Buddha is NOT "English", Allah is Arabic but you don't translate that name! LOL! If the "J" made a "Y" sound then why don't you call him Yesus, your thinking is flawed and is NOT backed by anything but mans word! WHY would you translate a name through 3 languages and then change the beginning pronounciation to a new pronounciation which has never existed???
@FollowerofYahuwah Again, you simply do not know the languages and are making assumptions based on your ignorance. Learn Hebrew and Greek and then get back to me. When the "J" in early English had a "Y" sound, people WERE calling Him Yesus. lol. Well, now it lost that sound and we call Him "Jesus." Not a problem for Him, since He ANSWERS prayer to that name. Why do so many humans have a problem?
If names were translated instead of transliterated then nobody would know how anyone was talking about! Name any other name in history which has been changed, Moa ZeDong of China is NOT changed to Steve Young for example, the people the world over still call Obama and Osama by the same name and don't translate them! If you don't understand basic Linguistics then you should NOT be teaching half truths to anyone! Any educated person will tell you what I am saying is true.
@FollowerofYahuwah Actually, you are not linguistically educated and I can see that clearly. Look in the Bible and see that Daniel and two names, one Hebrew and another Babylonian. Look in the Bible and see that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego also had two names, one Hebrew and another Babylonian, and they were TOTALLY different. You need to learn language facts and stop speculating. That gets tiresome to keep hearing the same old ignorant nonsense from people who can't read a word of Hebrew
The translators had no right to cross through each language which completely changes the name. The went from Hebrew to Greek to Latin to English which is WRONG! They should have went from Hebrew to Greek....Hebrew to Latin....Hebrew to Enlish....this is the CORRECT manner in which names are Transliterated! The name Je'sus DOES NOT sound even close to the Original HEBREW name nor does it come close in any language to convey the MEANING of the Original Hebrew name! They FAILED in every aspect!
@FollowerofYahuwah LOL...This is getting silly. Languages have different alphabets, and so that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to render a name or words exactly in the translation language. So you really have no clue what you're talking about, just like most who try to make claims about this topic.
The new language may have different letters or character in that language but you find the letters which make the same sound, it will ALWAYS sound the same! If there is not an equivelant you simply write or speak the name in its original language. Common nouns are Translated by the meaning, it will sound different but it will have the same meaning... i.e. Spanish-Sustanivo ....English-Table BUT Proper Nouns which are ITEM SPECIFIC will ALWAYS sound the same!
If you go to another country do you change your name or do you introduce yourself by the name you were given at birth? A perfect example of what I'm saying is on the Spanish Channel, they will speak in Spanish but when names are spoken such as athletes or leaders of the world they still speak the ORIGINAL NAME! Proper linguistics specificly state that when Transliterating from one language to another you take the SOURCE name and Transliterate it to the new language....continued
@FollowerofYahuwah Again, do some historical research on ANCIENT Hebrew and Greek and how languages work. It is obvious to me that you have done no substantive research in this area.
First off you stated that the "J" made a "Y" sound, we have a "Y" sound in the "English language so why would you not use the "Y" sound and change it to a "J" sound which didn't exist 400 years ago? Secondly you said you name is Arthur which is NOT "English" but WELCH! So by what you are saying we must change our names as well. Names are Proper Nouns and DO NOT change, words which are not specific are Common Nouns and they are translated. Proper nouns are TRANSLITERATED and carry over!
