  • im still love this guy

  • People of the South Wind janai diba?

  • Great Vox Steve!

  • man, steve sounds great on this video!

  • Factually, The band Kansas was formed in Topeka, Kansas.....doesn't matter where the individuals are from. I knew their drummer when he went to Jr. college in Coffeyville, Kansas..............just some trivia

  • @hickrystyk Yeah, they used to play all over the area back in the 70's. I bought a Gibson L6s that used to belong to one of the guitar players from a little music store in Topeka back in 1976 - 77. Funny thing..... I used to look a lot like the violin player and I had a friend who lookd exactly like Kerry Livgren. When we would go to bars in Topeka, people would always mistake us for the Kansas dudes.

  • @spyguys I think thats kinda neat, people used to ask me if I was Vitas Gerilitas the famous tennis player who over dosed. I look just like he does but I played keyboard for a lot of different rock bands when they needed help. Vitas came to a show and on back stage after wards. We both had real long hair, mine in a pony tail his not, just real curley. Very nice guy, went to some of his matches later.

  • @keysB3P I remember that guy, great tennis player.

  • 2:25

Steve sounds REMARKABLY like he did in the 70's!

Goes to show what a bit of vocal rest can do for a guy, eh?

  • Oh. PLEASE edit the intro out. That guy makes me wanna punch him.

  • Seriously- listen to his voice. Its not shredded or raw at ALL. WTF?

  • Mike Pinera (thegtr.introducer) is well known as being a bit "Vaudeville" and a self promoter...When I saw him with Classic Rockers he was suggesting from the stage that he was with Iron Butterfly when they released "Inna Gadda Da Vida". He didn't join for at least 4-5 years later....so go figure his strange intro....

  • He sounds awesome- why? He usually sounded ripped in these years. Must be the gum he's chewing! Luv ya, S.

  • Wow! Steve sounds amazing here!

  • He's having fun playing Steve Walsh (and, ironically, sounding like me doing Kansas). Mind-boggling!

  • FUNNY! Everyone in the crowd is going"HUH? What is this guy talkin about??'

  • Man... only a gifted mand like Mr. Steve "the best prog vocal of all times" Walsh to take that and STILL sing as... Steve Walsh... Must he live forever!

  • That dumbass shouldn't be aloud to perform with Steve Walsh, even if it is just a charity concert.

  • "Former" singer of Kansas? Who are these f'ing douchebags?

  • Great sense of humor. and, of course, Steve Walsh (the GREATEST ROCK VOCALIST OF ALL TIME). Awesome!

  • Southern Rock . . . "Kansas"? (Topeka) . . . last time I looked at Kansas history, it was part of the Union? Uhh . . . that guy should not get high on his own supply! That was hilarious! :P -MAVIII(prOgulus . c O m)

  • Steve rules.

  • Wow Steveie is back!

  • keep on rocking

  • my word.........when was this video taken???....haven't heard Steve sound so good in a long time. Tremendous !!!

  • yea former LOL.. and from new orleans kansas...was he like drunk ??

  • Walsh is from St. Louis, Missouri!

  • Actually, Steve is from St. Joe, Missouri. :^)

  • You are absolutely correct! I went back and reread the booklet that came with my box set and sure enough it said St. Joseph home of the pony express not St. Louis! I must have glossed over it too quickly! Thanks for the correction! I love your collection of Kansas material!

  • Thanks!

  • you have blown me away with this one.

listen how well his voice sounded with the proper rest. thanks for posting this!!

  • Hey Dave, your absolutley Right! Amazing!
