The Return of the Living Dead is funny. The Boogeyman is great, Bloogeyman II is crap, and so is Return of the Boogeyman. The Deadly Spawn looks silly. The Psychic looks uninteresting. Trilogy of Terror was boring and uninteresting.

i have so many dutch imports and region 1 dvds in my collection its annoying when i take them places and they dont have multi region or get weirded out with my euro boxes haha

I LOVE Trilogy Of Terror, it made a real impact on me years ago also and is still a scary film even today in my opinion. The voodoo doll episode was my favorite of course. Always loved the part with the voodoo doll is cutting his way through the suitcase and making those amazing freaky sounds.
Yes, Trilogy of Terror seems to be quite a memorable film for those that saw it. I still have not had the chance to watch it, but I'm looking forward to it after what my mum told me, especially the doll segments yes lol.
You can get that version of ROTLD in the states also. The Deadly Spawn is pretty good I need to get that one of theses days. I'd do an unpackaging video but I'd be afraid that I wouldn't get most of my order.

I never bought ROTLD again. Ive had my old copy for a long time. I like the cover art on the old release. Is the Special Features worth the re-buy?? Never seen Boogeyman. You've never seen Trilogy of Terror? I'm surprised. I didn't think I'd seen any horror movies that you hadn't. Lol. It's one of my favorites. It's great quality for something that was made for tv. It's right up there with Duel. If you like it, you should check out another film by the same director which also stars Karen Black. It's called Burnt Offerings and it's a haunted house picture that pre-dates The Shining. There are many similarities between the two films.

Killer Must... was pretty good. I was a bit suprised about the plot, because I like my gialli classic - black gloves, killings, revelation of the killer; but this was something different. The direction is suprisingly good for Cozzi. I would not put it into my Top 15 Gialli, but maybe into the Top 20 lol

The Boogeyman was a pretty good slasher film in my opinion. Return to Boogeyman is actually the third in the series. The second Boogeyman is very hard to find,but is a ok film.

I bought The Boogeyman "Double Feature" at Wal-mart today actually. It was only ten dollars so I thought to get it, and I loved it! I just hated how the cover art was a little like short in width and it barely covered the entire DVD Case, which pissed me off. The Return of the Boogeyman wasn't that great.. at all.

I'm definitely going to check out Southern Comfort. I like those kind of survival movies. I recently saw Hunter's Blood, another Deliverance-esque movie with Clu Gallagher from ROTLD. It was pretty darn good.

I've seen a few Lommel films - his late 70's and 80's films are interesting like Tenderness of Wolves, but all he seems to do today is straight to video serial killer 'bio-pics'. Deadly Spawn is one of the best of it's kind, loved it.

Deadly Spawn I feel the same way too. The Synapse release does the film justice! Southern Comfort is a damn good film, and I wish it was more popular. I prefer it to The Warriors in a way. You've never seen Trilogy of Terror? I'm surprised. I didn't think I'd seen any horror movies that you hadn't. Lol. It's one of my favorites. It's great quality for something that was made for tv. It's right up there with Duel. If you like it, you should check out another film by the same director which also stars Karen Black. It's called Burnt Offerings and it's a haunted house picture that pre-dates The Shining. There are many similarities between the two films.

Pyjama Girl Case was not my thing, pretty boring and not a real giallo imo.
Killer Must... is my only M.Macabro DVD too so far. It's a pretty unusual giallo, you know who's the killer from the beginning.
Ah, man, I'd love to get The Psychic. Do you know a shop that carries it for a good price? It's so expensive...

Killer Must... was pretty good. I was a bit suprised about the plot, because I like my gialli classic - black gloves, killings, revelation of the killer; but this was something different. The direction is suprisingly good for Cozzi. I would not put it into my Top 15 Gialli, but maybe into the Top 20 lol

I just love it when a big package of dvds comes through the post , i like it almost as much as watching the films .lol RotLD is my alltime favorite zombie film , i must have watched it 100 times & know all the dialog from it. Trilogy of Terror is cool , i still need to buy it but ive got a good bootleg of it for now , ive also got part 2 but havn't watched it , but i know its got the Zumi Doll in it again. The Psychic looks cool , seen it advertised in fangoria.

The Boogeyman was a pretty good slasher film in my opinion. Return to Boogeyman is actually the third in the series. The second Boogeyman is very hard to find,but is a ok film.

I bought The Boogeyman "Double Feature" at Wal-mart today actually. It was only ten dollars so I thought to get it, and I loved it! I just hated how the cover art was a little like short in width and it barely covered the entire DVD Case, which pissed me off. The Return of the Boogeyman wasn't that great.. at all.
Completely un-related, but is there a Region 1 release of Children of the corn II: The final Sacrafice? I have been trying to track it down forever!

When I first started watching horror films Boogeyman was one of the first I saw, I thought it was great. I agree about Southern Comfort it is an excellent film.

But your right one does it for me, mmm. :p I've heard a lot of people mentioning Boogeyman since I started watching DVD updates, but hadn't heard of it before that. Is it fairly well-known? Everytime I hear that title I instantly think of the awful Barry Watson movie (although I liked the STV sequel with Tobin Bell.)

I'm definitely going to check out Southern Comfort. I like those kind of survival movies. I recently saw Hunter's Blood, another Deliverance-esque movie with Clu Gallagher from ROTLD. It was pretty darn good.

I love getting DVDs in the mail. It's like Christmas. I've never seen Boogeyman, but I hear Ulli Lommel makes hilariously bad movies that sound interesting. I just got Deadly Spawn myself. Looking forward to checking that out.

yes, it is like Christmas - or like a fix, for a junkie, more to the point :P. I've seen a few Lommel films - his late 70's and 80's films are interesting like Tenderness of Wolves, but all he seems to do today is straight to video serial killer 'bio-pics'. Deadly Spawn is one of the best of it's kind, loved it.
