he's a great dancer but the voice over and the balloon were so cheesy and totally got in the way of his performance. they made me want to puke. he's like a disney movie.
some people on here argue that his dance's contain too many flips and stuff.. but this had no flips. yeah it had jumps and turns but that's what competitions are so get over it. you can't say anyythingg about how raw his emotion is. he had the jumps and turns, but there was emotion behind them and they made sense at the time of the song and he danced his heart out. sooo all the haters take your lame excuses, and get over your selves. maybe you heartless ignoants should watch the dance.

Kent is by far my favorite contestant ever on "So You Think You Can Dance" His is extremly talanted and He deserves all the best in life. Even though he didn't win this season he will for sure go far in his dancing carrer.

There will be times that I don't even take a step but I get so excited while talking or telling a story or performing a monologue that I end up breathing a bit harder because I got excited. He's young; he's small. Sure, he's a farm boy--but when they showed his house and yard and stuff--it sure didn't look like the type of "farm" where he'd be doing a lot of hard work.

can we all just take a moment and stop our negativity for one quick second, to realize that's his voice in the song in the beginning saying all that. he danced that for his grandmother and i could reallly see his emotion pouring out. so all you arrogant people who say "he knows someone on the show" and all that crap, get over yourself and realize he has legit talent and is an amaaazing dancer.

Absolutely amazing. I officially think Kent is one of my all time favorite dancers. He's become an inspiration to me to keep dancing and grow as a dancer. He is truly unbelievable.. And I can definitely relate to this dance. My grandpa has Alzheimers as well, and this dance and choreography, and everything about it was absolutley beautiful..

Kent, you are true inspiration to me. I am a dancer also, and when I see you dance, it just makes me wanna be just like you. Your Great Escape solo is AMAZINGG. I truely hope that you win Kent. Cause you most absolutly deserve it. And yes Kent, u r THE best on the show.
there is just something about the way he moves...i can tell that with a bit more schooling he will be unstoppable. whoever can't see all that amazing talent that's just beginning 2 show is an idiot. i can't wait 2 see his dancing in a couple of years.
This was the best I've seen the guy dance.... lol, outside this he his maybe twice in the whole show, found a groove with the music [musicality] ...there is no excuse for that, this was a dance competition that he won (i think it said) -- no, no excuse... others are better because they are either more talented, or work harder.... If Billy and Lauren are bottom 3 with him ever, he should 15550% go home.... That's my last comment on this hopeless subject. Peace kids
@darkgirl222 Everybody has progressed... the only routines that weren't amateurish from Kent were the last two he did, and I didn't like the routine with AdeChike much either, cept he did do better than adechike... Who cares why people don't vote for Billy... Jakob Karr lost last season, but folks will vote for more personal reasons than being honest.... Now that Ashley is gone, it's 1.Lauren 2.Billy 3.Robert 4.Kent 5.AdeChike and 6.Jose -- from what's been given out.... I enjoy talent, *shrug*
Kid has been fairly amateurish as far as musicality and filling the space beneath choreography. Outside of charisma and a aura of naivete, he has only recently stood out [last airing] when he was paired with two other male contemporary dancers. I can't say I think he deserves to win it all. He doesn't. Lauren has been solid as well as Ashley. Billy Bell has also been solid in every routine [besides crump] ...Kent has looked amateurish in all but a couple dances [even in his own genre] - 4th best
@quenquen411 I think that you are wrong. He has improved every week; and looking at his background, that says a lot. I always liked him from the beginning; he was always my favorite. Billy seems to have something about him that is a little off; hence why people don't vote for him. I do like Lauren, she will be in the top two with Kent. As for Ashley, well, she had to leave because of medical reasons, so we can't really judge that, now can we?
He has really solid turns and great height on his jumps. But most importantly, he has soul. My mom said this the other day: "Kent is one of those people who if you asked him how he wanted to die, he would say dancing." You can see how happy dancing makes him and that is what inspires me the most. :)
@rekupp Im not a fan of the voice overs but this song is so commonly used in dance it seems that I actually appreciated the fact that he basically told us what this dance means to him. Why it's been choreographed this way ya know? For that I like it.

@danceloverxox0 The Dance Centre Wapakoneta facility is over 8,000sq feet, 5 dance studios, 50 yrs experience and the competition team travels to New York, Florida, Tennessee, Las Vegas, Virginia, California, and Los Angeles..also performs at Disney. It's hardly a "small town farming" dance studio with hardly any dancers in the area!!!!!!

Absolutely amazing. I officially think Kent is one of my all time favorite dancers. He's become an inspiration to me to keep dancing and grow as a dancer. He is truly unbelievable.. And I can definitely relate to this dance. My grandpa has Alzheimers as well, and this dance and choreography, and everything about it was absolutley beautiful..

@naturescloud no what is really annoying is someone judging another based on where they live or where they grew up. He grew up on a farm so he must be a moron. right? Before you go judging people and insulting their intelligence you should check your own... because if you are wise enough to know so much more than Kent, you would know that you are using incorrect grammar. @naturescloud I didn't see a single flip in that coreography... and it conveyed a very clear story. Each movement corresponded with a change in musical tone or a specific word said or sang. What the heck are you talking about?

there is just something about the way he moves...i can tell that with a bit more schooling he will be unstoppable. whoever can't see all that amazing talent that's just beginning 2 show is an idiot. i can't wait 2 see his dancing in a couple of years.

This was the best I've seen the guy dance.... lol, outside this he his maybe twice in the whole show, found a groove with the music [musicality] ...there is no excuse for that, this was a dance competition that he won (i think it said) -- no, no excuse... others are better because they are either more talented, or work harder.... If Billy and Lauren are bottom 3 with him ever, he should 15550% go home.... That's my last comment on this hopeless subject. Peace kids

@darkgirl222 Everybody has progressed... the only routines that weren't amateurish from Kent were the last two he did, and I didn't like the routine with AdeChike much either, cept he did do better than adechike... Who cares why people don't vote for Billy... Jakob Karr lost last season, but folks will vote for more personal reasons than being honest.... Now that Ashley is gone, it's 1.Lauren 2.Billy 3.Robert 4.Kent 5.AdeChike and 6.Jose -- from what's been given out.... I enjoy talent, *shrug*

Kid has been fairly amateurish as far as musicality and filling the space beneath choreography. Outside of charisma and a aura of naivete, he has only recently stood out [last airing] when he was paired with two other male contemporary dancers. I can't say I think he deserves to win it all. He doesn't. Lauren has been solid as well as Ashley. Billy Bell has also been solid in every routine [besides crump] ...Kent has looked amateurish in all but a couple dances [even in his own genre] - 4th best

@quenquen411 I think that you are wrong. He has improved every week; and looking at his background, that says a lot. I always liked him from the beginning; he was always my favorite. Billy seems to have something about him that is a little off; hence why people don't vote for him. I do like Lauren, she will be in the top two with Kent. As for Ashley, well, she had to leave because of medical reasons, so we can't really judge that, now can we?

He has really solid turns and great height on his jumps. But most importantly, he has soul. My mom said this the other day: "Kent is one of those people who if you asked him how he wanted to die, he would say dancing." You can see how happy dancing makes him and that is what inspires me the most. :)

@rekupp Im not a fan of the voice overs but this song is so commonly used in dance it seems that I actually appreciated the fact that he basically told us what this dance means to him. Why it's been choreographed this way ya know? For that I like it.
