This is just nonsense. If your a/v system or part of your system requiers such a device, you already bought faulty equipment in the first place, which you should return to the manufacturer asap. No piece of equipment should have such a terrible power handling that it requires an additional 2500+ Euros device. None of your favorite songs wil sound 2500+ Euros better with this thing. You'd better spend that money on music itself and have fun! :-D

I don't know any mastering studio without mains filters. They're not only 2500€ but there always should be some mains filters. If would never give my mixes to a mastering studio without mains filters.

This is a very good unit. I replaced my P300 with the Premier to power my entire system (SACD player, tube preamp, and 20wpc tube monoblocks). Sounds great and further reduces the noise floor. What is especially nice is that my amps now maintain rock solid bias levels because the voltage stays at a constant 120.

Regardless of the objective performance of the unit, I wouldn't feel comfortable believing anything this guy has to say about an ice cube. His demeanor/mannerisms are a little too similar to that of a paid infomercial actor to take him seriously.

Not really. If the P300 is providing good service to you and you do not need more power then the Premier won't really provide anything extra.

You have problem done all the research but the real reason is performance. The Monster units do provide some minor benefits, but nothing compared to what the Premier PPP does. There really is no comparison to the results gained from rebuilding the AC sine wave with new AC like the Premier does. The Monster unit simply filters a small amount - and in the case of the AVS unit, regulates the voltage on a long term basis. I like to think of this as "polish" or "trim". The PPP does real work.

I have both Monster Power AVS 2000 SS and Monster Power HTS 5100 SS to power my system but after reading and research I have done on the PPP I am ready to sell and purchase a PS Audio PPP. Anymore reasons why I should??

Excellent video. Paul looks younger every year. He can be a very good school teacher if he doesn't want to be in the hifi industry anymore. Of course, I still prefer him to be in the industry.

I have two pp premier and one P500. These things work. The premier is a significant upgrade from the previous powerplants. I happen to have use all of them. The older products were nice but prone to failures. It is much reduced heat in the premier that makes it more reliable.

Talk, talk, & more talk. Why don't the video just demonstrate before & after the product is introduced into a hi-end hi-fi system.If we can hear a dramatic transformation of sound quality as claimed, then this is proof that the product works as claimed. The proof is in the pudding....

Pleasantly surprised at personal email reply. Ad person appears a very honest nice guy. Didn't want to sound mean but really put off by deluge of such TV ads on pdts like juicer exerciser etc.All seem to foll same format std presentation.Sounds terribly boring.If u can show "real" user enjoying himself w this pdt in a "saliva inducing" hi-fi sys, hifi lovers like myself for whom the pdt is targetted will find it more interesting exiting attractive & may end up buying this product. Thanks! I try and personally respond to all correspondence which, as you can imagine, takes a lot of my time. PS is a very different company making a very different product. We've been dedicated to this model for 35 years.

I totally agree with you - listening to me yap along for 10 minutes is boring and we need to figure out something more interesting. Not sure about drooling audiophiles. :) One of the reasons we made this particular video is because of a lot of requests to see inside.

This thing is sweet. I have everything connected to it including a JVC RS-1 projector.

Results are nice and does not run hot like the old P300.

I've listened to exact power and thought it sounded great. I've also seen from cole to coltrane and was very impressed. Actually I like to hear more about the products in your starting pricepoint as I might get one. Is there any capable to handle 6-8 products. Is there one in say the 1500 dollar pricepoint?

First off, the Exact Power unit is a good one. I don't think quite as good as the Premier but you know, they are very close and make an excellent unit.

In the price range you are looking at, see if you can get a Quintessence. I think they are going for about $1K. You can also do really well with just a $499 Quintet too.
