By the way, the 747 was a revolutionary aircraft, the range, speed and number of passengers it carries is incredible considering the aircraft was first produced in 1969. The aircraft has held the record for the largest passenger aircraft for 37 years. In addition to this, without the 747, the 757, 767 and 777 would cease to exist because of its technological advancements in the cockpit environment, i.e. the removal of the flight engineer.
