Есть только один вопрос какая раздатка на Гранде? Если 242, то водитель фуфел, если 249OD, возможны варианты...
I had one at work for a safety inspection. a 1997 1.7l. after looking thoroughly over the niva i found it to have an late 80's early 90's gm fuel and ignition systems. the overall build quality was bad, sloppy welds, terrible safety restraints. the niva is good off road because it's light. the niva is a uni-body vehicle where the jeep is a full frame design. Do the TOP GEAR test side by side test with a Niva and a Jeep and see what happens. but even better run a niva against a Toyota Hilux
all american cars are garbage, my f-150 caught fire in the parking lot because of cruise control made by Ti. My pontiac blew the tranny at 5000km. My Chevy silverado 1500 2008 blew it's rear end on the highway doing 70km/h. and the transmission has metal shaving at 15000km. American makes shit worth of cars and they always say they are the best. you haven't made good cars since teh 60s man.
Now this is what I call a Sports Utility Vehicle. It's small enough to drive just about anywhere, it's rugged enough to go off road. Most people rarely take their Jeep Cherokees off road for some reason, whereas I'll bet one would gladly take their Lada Niva off-roading anytime. It's too bad the Lada Niva was never sold here in North America. I'll bet it would've given the Jeep a run for its money.

Jeep RULES . Jeep is the Best 4x4 of all times. Njiva is a Russian product with engine spewing blue smoke and 72 HP. Jeep has 200 + and this is WJ, still much better than Njiva and German SUVs. If you broght 3rd and 4th Generation Grand Cherokee ( Production Code WK & WK 2 ) with Quadra Drive 2, ALL TIME 4WD, Njiva woul be left in the DUST of 4x4 history, And , yes, I forgot 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon , 3rd Generation ( JK ), which would eat and leave Njiva Misery in DUST for BREAKFAST.
@selomoje93: Jeep is ONE of the Best. The're is no Best of..because both Lada Niva and Jeep Cherokee have their quallity's. The Jeep may have more power, but in very extreme climate like in Russia with temperature's of minus 40-50 degree's celsius, there's a big chance the electronic's of the Jeep will fail, while the Lada will go on. Why? Simplicity! The Lada Niva is not high tech, but that's THE secret!

Put the same Tyres on the Grand Cherokee and it will wipe the floor with the LADA, and just about anything else off-road.
Grand Cherokee's prowess is stunning without drama.

Put the Lada up against a Jeep CJ and I guarantee you it will fail horribly. The CJ was a REAL off roader not the Grand Cherokee.
