partenavias are good airlanes. The only problem is their powerplats... underpowred. All you need to do is install a couple of IO-550s (600hp total) and you are set :).
Actually it is a P68C. I only flew the P68C-TC (Turbocharged). And even this one is hard to fly single engine with 3 people at 5000 feet. Not really a good twin. I prefer a Piper cheyeneIII
Nice twin when you are only 2 on board just above sea level. Try that single engine stuff with 6 on board and ISA + 20°C and see why its not a REAL twin..
For those considering these aircrafts are underpowered, consider the Viator...

yeah.. of course, and then get a 70gph take off drill and 30gph cruising.. with todays fuel prices, no many can afford a plane with IO-550's :(

@marick626 nothing wrong with their power plants. the 200 hp lycoming engines from the piper arrow make excellent engines.

if you have an engine failure the vulcanair will take you to an airport. Not to climb but to get safe to a place for landing.
