no well actualy the shape is pretty basic, since its just the shape of the gun with a thickness (unlike the real thing)... but otherwise when I can use pepakura I never hesitate

I made it out of card board. For the kind, I can only say that this cardboard is neither thin, neither thick (approx 2mm). Mine is grey, and very resistant

yes it is. Actually I printed the 12" picture way bigger to have the real-sized-printed weapon.

I'd say the key for make it quick is to print a real sized image of the thing, I always do this. So you have all the proportions. For the lancer it was very easy : you just have to separate the work in different parts (for instance : the grip, the main volume, the magazine, his entrance and the chainsaw). Details are just a superimposing of flat cardboard parts if you take a look.

In my country we call this kind of cardboard "wooden cardboard" or "grey cadboard", cause it's a recycled material. It is grey and got some spots. It's quite difficult to cut, but it make resistant models. I tell you this but you can uz something else...
