I have yet to block a project, but this makes me feel a lot more confident!
I have a fair isle cowl that I will need to wet block to try to remove some of the puckering (my first try!). Should I block this flat like the above sweater?
@connorcollin1 You got it - Block the cowl flat and smooth it out on both sides to remove any puckering. And remember, if all else fails - you can always block it again :)
Can you use this technique to block 100 percent acrylic yarn? I want to block granny squares to see if it will work. Thank you so much for this video.

@directedbyhp You can, but it often doesn't do much, because its a synthetic yarn. They address this at 1:10

this was a fantastic tutorial, very helpful. I always wet blocked since I didn't know the other methods, but I need to try steam blocking!

how long should you steam it?

@rafionny long enough for it to feel a bit damp.
