I'm I just a bad analyzer? I didn't detect a romantic relationship between Hiei and Mukurou. I thought they just cared about each other because they identified with each other from having similiar internal struggles.

@madara021 I know my comment is a bit late to yours, but the creator of YYH said Hiei is gay. He was meant to have a relationship with Kurama but "it would complicate the story" So unless they changed it, Hiei is gay

That was a really good episode tho, i liked it, and i am almost positive that the episode that this clip is from is 100. there is only 112 episodes in the series its so sad that its not on TV any more...T_T they replased yyh with stupid show!!! im so mad!!!

I never have understood why he chopped his arm off there. Looked like he got cut a bit bracing the sword with his arm, then chopped it off for no good reason. Usually I like sacrifice-the-arm scenes, but this one doesn't make sense X-D

I also had trouble figuring out at first why he did it as well.

But it seems more like he was using his arm as the fulcrum, and his sword as the lever, in order to parry the opponent's attack, and leave his enemy wide open.

You see that after Hiei parries his enemies attack, he firmly plants his foot on top of his opponents weapon, causing his next attack to become unblockable.

For a long time I've been wanting to see what happened in this fight (stoopid Cartoon Network dubbed it out!). I agree, though; was it really necessary to lose his left arm, even though he regained it soon after? Perhaps he realized it would be reattached. Perhaps I'm looking too far into the matter.

But still, cool! And didn't Shigure have the top half of his head put back on?
