  • Still waiting for that extense, in depth, chosen one review.

  • had that same issue with the gearbox locking in place and not firing even with a fully charged battery. its a common problem with guns that have too strong of spring and lack a good power source. just stuck in a stronger battery to get the gun shootin. it happened to my cheap echo1 AK and i just stuck in my 9.6v batt from my G&G m16 and it shot fine. Otherwise, the ICS mp5 is a great piece; good fps and accuracy, durability and its an mp5! btw, don't buy cheap guns like JG or E1 their garbage

  • there is no ICS mp5a4 sportline review on your website!!!

  • wow... your website is down

  • went on the fuckin website and theres no ics mp5a4 sportline

  • can the ics mp5 handle a lipo?

  • every gun can, but it will wear faster

  • I do not see where is the full review of this gun, can anyone send me a link? (yes, checked out on their website on the reviews section

  • i would suggest getting a normal 8.4v battery with a little bit more tourque, or Mah, on your battery

  • ok so i have this and i was shooting and it just stopped firing. Now on semi and full auto nothing happens. no gears move nothing as if there was no battery. any suggestions?

  • Check the fuse

  • mine does that too try popping out the motor and putting it back in, it should work.

  • Check the fuse

  • no it wont

  • I believe you have to do some upgrades first for it to be capable of using a 9.6v battery.

  • I could never get on the Airsoft reports website

  • i thought the p stood for power

  • Can some1 tell me what is +/- in the gun.

  • what is the difference between the normal gun and the "sportline" model?

  • The difference between the 2 is that The Sportline Model is made more affordable but a lower price has it's own consequences. The Normal gun has more quality but still. Its made by ICS so you can still expect a good quality. Just remember you get what you pay for.

  • But I have heard very bad things about G&G sportlines durability, but ICS is durable.

  • cause the review is like an hour long, and they don't want it in a lot of vid parts.

  • what is AEG,LPEG,and MPEG

  • Excellent choice with the previews guys.

This should increase your hits on airsoftreports website by a lot since we are compelled to go there (even myself).

Love the vids btw, great job on all of your work

-PLEASE add a hop-up part to your videos! I like to see comparison!

  • what gun would you recommend to a beginner thats not to pricey (around $150)?

  • Any echo 1 AEG really. G36C, E90, MP5, M4A1 - really it's down to personal preference because the performances are roughly the same.

  • The echo1 G36c is the best echo1, and so is the m4, but the battery is crap. The p90 has a VERY low stock rof, even with the stock 9.4v. The echo1 vector arms are also one of their best.

  • Orrrrr you could save like 30 dollar dollars and get a G&G sportline/plastica. Best mpegs on the market.

  • The internals on the ICS are top notch.

The price is geared towards the more budget conscious buyers.

You get the plastic body, because it lowers the price.

Thus, if you don't a plastic gun, then don't get a plastic gun.

  • @Airsoftreports dose the sportline have the same internals as the full metal mp5a4?

  • I don't agree that its "Shit" plastic. It is at least on par with the Echo 1 Mp5 we have in house.

Take good care of your gun and it won't break.

  • Aight, thanks for info :D

Guess I'll go CA full metal, but I heard CA has poor internals.

  • What about the new G&G mp5 sportline?

  • Would you recommend this over the Echo 1 mp5 or the G&G mp5 plastica/sportline?

  • I have come to like echo 1 over most other companies, but I have never used an ics gun before

  • I have an ICS, a KWA, and used to have a Echo1, but high end guns require high maintenance, unless your using ICS... I'm am going to buy another Echo1 tomorrow because i like the mid quality with no maintenance... In a few months I'll completely trick it out with internal and external upgrades...

    ( I have no idea why i made this comment/reply )

  • I too like the mid level quality of Echo1 but I like how even though its mostly middle of the road its still good and lasts a long time. Durability and little maintenance are two of the three requirements I demand before I purchase a gun, the third being of course price. Echo 1 fits nicely into that spot, plus I like their full metal guns :). I am of course talking about the big guns, I only have 1 pistol and its KWA which is a good GBB gun company, I recommend them.

  • i have the echo SOC 16 and it got to be drag wuth the battery the clip is shaky and i want a more modern looking gun. also the hop up is hard to find and the switching from semi to auto. some guns you have to aim up with to reach the hundread feet mark,i dont want that. i want a gun that looks modern, weighs less than 10 LBS and can fire strieght for at least 100 feet. also with decent battery size. thanks Konrad.

  • Isn't it the exact same gun, except for the plastic externals?

  • Sportline, meaning all plastic except for gearbox. Price range is 170 to 200. Excellent price for an irreplaceable gearbox.

  • Hey guys, I tweaked the code a bit to make the video size a little larger.

Can't go to big without compromising the video quality. It should be a bit better now.

    Thanks!

    Konrad

  • Ill try to adjust the video player size guys. Its the default size that the videos post in.

Ill play around with the HTML and try to work it out.

I will most definitely be posting the firing report ASAP. With the holidays things have been getting a little crazy.

    Regards,

    Konrad

  • since the video on their website is extremely small you can hold CTRL on your keyboard and scroll in with your mouse to zoom in on the screen to make the video player bigger

  • hey konrad, first off, great review, I saw it on your site. 2nd will you be making a firing report on the sportline?

  • its probly 120-150 dollars

  • no.

its actually around 230 to 270

  • u sure? becuz this is the sportline

  • oh ooops

yea then its about that price range i believe. i've never seen ics sportline

  • ooo man try an audio compressor! The voice over hurts my ears with it's high frequencies!

  • Thanks Bluemonkey. I intentionally set the targets up so that the line of sight keeps the bbs flight path visible. Also, we do precisely measure each target with an industrial sized tape measure.

  • so happy you finally put up a new video! you do some of the best reviews on youtube from what Ive seen simply because you have marked targets that you measured and I can see the flight path of the bb perfectly. not some 50 foot shooting test that everyone knows you are going to hit. thanks

  • ya the upcomming weekend is my birthday so ya i got it earlie... sweet.

I will be making a instructional video about it and, with your permission, i mention your guy's name for a more indepth review on it.

Thank you and please answer back soon.

    -Mtvcp
