i think the father was lucky he didnt die in such a brutal way, but deep down he probably wishes he was killed also, being depressed forever is worse than being dead
@ladyvable You're blaming the police for their inaction? What about the two persons responsible for this depravity? Bad choices with even darker motives made this a supreme tragedy. No one deserves to die, but when you take the life of someone else, despite defense, they should lose their right to their own life. I know it sounds like an eye for an eye, but what I'm trying to express is that we need to let people know that we all are accountable for our own actions. Once we accept accountabilit
i was watching Opra's rerun with her conversation with Dr. Petite im sorry 30mins after the bank teller made the 911 phone call is an eternity for the police to respond!!! before she even went back into the house the police should of been in the house....if the family was still alive while Mrs. Petit is in the bank, than when the cops got there the murderers werent goin to kill them....they would of tried to flee!! so the thirty minutes it took cop to get there is what killed that family...
She's free here, why did she go back. All they had to do was send about two cop cars to her residence and then send one or two plain clothes there so the suspect wouldn't see police cars in the parking lot and drive off. Once you are out of sight from criminals you have to flee. I know she's trying to save her family, but the husband is still alive because he fled. They needed to keep their doors locked too. I never keep mine unlocked.
ya this story besides what those two criminals did horriflcly do . there are certain details that don't add up... this crime coud;ve been stopped....i question the police response and neighbors responses......my heart goes out to the family though....
WOW SHE TELL THE TELLER THEY NOTIFY THE POLICE AND THE POLICE JUST SITS IN FRONT OF THE HOME DOING NOTHING !!!! MY GOD BLESS THIS ENTIRE FAMILY AND MAY THEY REST IN PEACE. GOD BLESS THE FATHER AND HUSBAND
@DutchessofCantia she told the bank teller too, she did, and then the police showed up 45 minutes later, if they went straight to the scene they would have lived but they took their time... blamed it on "protocall"
This was her chance and it seems it did not work, Right then and there the police should have taken action. Thats all I will say,

The police dept should be sued for wrongful death. FUCK THE COPS! THEY'RE USELESS!

@getfuckedanddie1 The cops were just following orders. They can't storm into the building cause they aren't trained for hostage rescue like swat.
