If a head of state presents you with an award you should judge that person and throw it back in his face if he fails to meet your high standards. @Rastafarayaa That's great morality, say a bad word about someone who spread misery and suffering and we'll shoot you ha ha. He's told the truth, you might not like it, but it's the truth. I've not done much, but I've never stopped people getting medical help or told people they're going to a made up place for believing the in the wrong god. She is gulity of all. Hitchens has probably done more than her. I like the truth I'm afraid, I'm also atheist so divine individuals dont exist

@Rastafarayaa No, I don't believe in the supernatural, Catholics exist of course, they're god doesn't and they're divine individuals are just people. I haven't, but I've never told anyone with any sort of illness terminal or not they were going to hell, or denied anyone medical help. She wasn't she was getting alot of money of criminals and dictators, she could have built hospitals but all she did was have homes for the dying. Open your eyes, she only made things worse for people.

@Rastafarayaa Why do you keep trying to put words in my mouth haha? she indirectly took money from the poor in the form of dictators and gave the money to the rich, the vatican, quite the opposite of Robin Hood. She wasn't though, these homes for the dying were horrible, especially for the money she was getting, she didn't allow these people to go to a proper hospital or anyone to vist them, well I think she could have helped the poor, instead of just helping them suffer.

@RodgerSmith11 you keep avoiding to comment on the fact that neither you or hitchens have the right to question mother Teresa, because neither of you ever tried to do anything for the poor. if you wore poor, homeless and had a terminal illness, would you be grateful to someone who gave you a bed, food, water and a roof over you head? there is just no helping the stupidity of the human race, if I wore to give 100mil usd to the poor, there would be a bunch of people hating me.

What the nuns have said is what Teresa has said. There is no conspiracy or anything. Teresa was about the suffering not the healing. What is the point of this documentary?! Calumniating a woman who had spent her life helping poor? I am not a religious man but I think Hitchens is even worse than religious fanatics. Mother Teresa never claimed that she was a saint, she knew very well that her job was not immaculate. Her apotheosis was mostly the result of the western media culture. She was not impeccable but she was at least good, what about Hitchens himself? What has he done to ameliorate the suffering of poor in India?

@raffik55 Hitchens' argument is that Teresa was an opportunist. She used that media culture and attention to push a political agenda. Much of what she did was not to help the poor, but to promote her religious fundamentalism. People like her and the pope bear responsibility for the spread of HIV in many countries.
