@JessicaLouiseMusic Pressure from the courts, the Privy council and others. The charges against Anne were trumped up charges but there were many who wanted her gone.
Ok... This show completely messes up history... Henry VIII loved Jane Seymore (because she gave him a son, Edward, who died age 15) and got buried next to her, also he only beheaded two wives, not all of them.
Watch the tudors if you want to know a bit more about it. It's a fantastic series about King Henry VIII and his six wives :) There are videos on you tube if you search...
"The Tudors Season 1 Episode 1: In Cold Blood {1/4}"
@TheTombRaiderLara He was the King of England and France he had 6 wives: Divorced(Cath of Arragon)
Behead(Anee Bolyen) Died(Jane Seymour) divorced(Anne of Cleves) Beheaded(Cath of something or surname) Survived(Cath Parr). He had his Own church Church of England well anyway he was a mean man.
@Sonicadvaned09 i know. i said that i had seen this episode before but back then when i saw the episode i didn't know who henry was but that know now...
@TheTombRaiderLara The fifth wife was Catherine Howard. Ironically the second and fifth wives of King Henry VIII were related to each other (cousins on the maternal side: Anne's mother Elizabeth Howard and Catherine's father Edmund Howard) and both were beheaded. The only difference is that with Anne Boleyn her charges of adultery were trumped up while Catherine really did commit adultery while she was married to the King and concealed the past affairs she had with other men before her marriage.

The only incorrect fact that made me mad was Anne Boleyn's head was chopped off by sword, not ax!
LilyMoth12 2 months ago 3
It is King Henry VIII fault since it is the guy who has to pass on the Y chromosome to get a son.
gourleycoinsDOTcom 2 months ago
her head was actually cut off with a sword, she was executed 3 years after the wedding, not nine months
hot6235 2 months ago 2
@hot6235 And also Henry want even at the chopping, he was playing a game of tennis (a sport of such anyway)

For the record, Anne Boleyn was executed kneeling down and her head upright, and it was a sword the chopped her head, not an axe. lol
