What people don't understand nowadays is that this kinda stuff used to happen all the time in the 70's. There was always a herd of killer *something* approaching. You'd finally make it back to your car with the popcorn and the extra-large Mello Yello and the freakin' footlong hotdog that your cousin Mavis just HAD to have, and by the time you're settling in and watching the opening cartoon, you'd have to convoy up and move lest you get eaten by whatever was roaming the suburbs that night.
