Hello everybody! I've recently finished creating my site, focusing on Astral Projection at fluidexistence.us. Please feel free to check it out. I host a 4 step technique to success, journals, a forum, and theories. . . all of which you may look through. Hopefully you will find something which aids you in your journeys!
Can anyone help me with this? I have tried to do OBE's for some weeks now, but the problem is that i can't get paralyzed! I feel this really strong urge to move, and i can't ignore it at all because i feel like it will last forever. How long does it last? And how long time does it take from you lay down to you get the OBE?
@c4ndeeman Well i have "tried", but i dream the whole dream without realize that i'm in the dream. I dream everynight, and remember very much of everything so that isn't the problem.
It seems that I have naturally developed the skills to induce the vibrations, although I find the electric pulses to be more like waves, I find them pleasurable. It usually occurs after falling asleep in front of the TV, then going to bed. I have always tried to use the vibrations to almost ‘toss’ myself out of my body – I might try the other way. I tend to think that what you describe as 2nd phase projection is lucid dreaming.
i have one time to time were i exit my body and travel a fair distance in particular i can seem to leap or glide far distances and i was wondering if any one has this particular OOBE or one simmilar
One of the biggest obstacles to astral projection is fear, why have you made this video so eerie? Dark colours, heavy predominant bass throughout it. It's very offputting
I dont know how many people know this.. So I feel the need to say something.... If you have a seizure disorder, DO NOT do this as "sleep deprivation" is a major trigger for many people with Epilepsy!!
if you're trying to go out of body to have fun or if you have a lot of fear, than you probably, most likely won't be able to go out of body. You should want to go to learn and grow.
@H0bbyman i'm not. i'm telling the truth. most of the people i've known that tried it, said that at first it seemed real cool, but then it really starts fucking up with you brain/spirit. if one's will is strong enough, they can disconnect from their body entirely. in which case it's impossible to ever go back. you start dealing with spirits beyond our dimension, and jinns that can see us, but we can't see them. they live in the fourth dimension. space and time can bend, and manipulated.

can people please stop putting scary music and pictures on OBE vids. one of my problems is that i get scared as soon as i begin to exit my body. and i know its because of this wierd perception that these vids give off. i can imagine it would put a lot of people off from trying it.
last night i woke up from a dream so i decided to try to have an OBE i got up to the part where i felt allot of vibrating and waited for it to stop. after the vibrating i tride to seperate but couldnt figure out how too. but i did get up and look aroudn my room but everything seemed normal except that it was all blurry. but i guessing thats from the condinsation of my eyes. can anyone rply to help me with this?
@PiromancerFreak I'm pretty sure you are supposed to try to separate *while* you are in the vibrational state... Btw how did you get to vibrational state anyway? I been trying through meditation but I can only get a little bit of vibes...
@WisdomoftheAeons well, i just woke up from a super vivid dream, so i decided to try to have a obe since i was still in a bit of a trance already. i did the magetic way of seperating and after a while of doing that it felt like my hole body started vibrating and there was a 20lb wait on my chest and it felt like my bed was breathing. it was a really strance experience but i didnt seperate...at least i dont think i did. i guess u have to be in mid-seperation before the vibrations come, its weird.
this is kinda creepy and can that be dangerous ? cause i can understand a bit of what you say : D can you help me ? i really want to do it sounds awesome !!!

The only places you're visiting is places inside your brain. I don't doubt one who is very practiced can get certain areas of the brain to be stimulated to hallucinate this effect. But lets get real. Nobody is going anywhere.
@DubstepOrigami Yes you can but remember nothing is secret in that realm. It's important to know your true intentions because you don't want to attract something you don't want. If I'm not mistaking, your thoughts, feelings, etc, are broadcasted there.

In NDE’s people are dead, yet they have experiences of seeing, hearing, touching and smelling things even though there senses and brains are clinically dead. Some scientists believe that the consciousness is not stored within the body and it is responsible for the storage of spiritual memories and experiences.

I don't support the idea of Astral travel anyway for this reason: WHile its fair to assume we are part spirit(for want of a better word) and part matter, we are in material form for a reason and while we are we shouldn't be trying to change that until neccessary.We have nothing in our culture as a human race indicating we should leave material form.As a concious being we can create any experience with thought.
Your point of view changes the pretence of the question from “How can I have an OOB” to “Should I have an OOB” – again, I am not certain that an OOB is spiritual at all, but rather an experience where the conscious mind and sub-conscious mind are both awake and aware at the same time. I can induce the vibrational state at will… and although the experiences in this state are very realistic, I cannot confirm that they are not simply me consciously acknowledging and controlling dreams.
@MrEvanDela I only use 'spirit' to distinguish between material form and non-material.You know the scientific principle about our conscious mind decides the outcome of what we perceive around us,it does at a quantum level,perhaps at our scale also. Think of the possibilities of infinite storage capacity and a connection to every other conciousness in the universe, this might account for past life experiences and knowledge of generations long since gone.The only problem with relying on science is that it is censored.Its all tantalizingly out of reach.
@bertbox69 Here is the question I am seeking to answer – and it is a fairly simple one. If memories are stored in the physical material body whether it is in the brain or the DNA. The pathway of the memories into the body would be via the physical senses (sight, sound, touch, smell and taste) if you are brain dead though, and your senses are not functioning… how does a memory which is confirmed by someone else get into your brain once you are revived?
@MrEvanDela I understand your question and it makes perfect sense.If I remember rightly,the book I read explained it as the brain at the quantum level is able to do things not yet understood.It must be a mixture of both 'spiritual' and physical,much the same way as electricity feeds info into and gets stored on computers,So if this interaction takes place in us it proves conciousness is a seperate thing.Input via the senses but also via the 'ether'.

I'm not sure if I'm feeling the vibrations or not. It feels like a tingle/vibration running up my legs and two people sat on each knee. My hearing goes also and it sort of sounds like when you put your ear to a sea shell. Is this what I'm suppose to be feeling?

well all i can say is that i have had two OBEs one of the VERy powerful, but both times they happened spontaneosly and i didn't float out of the body, I had just naturally got up, and then found myself out of the body.
@rickjam60 How do you know for sure? I mean can you actually prove it? Because I've tried it several times, and it was extremely pleasant, with no demonic entities or activity at all.

I had very freaky experiences when i wus a little kid and i wus afraid of to go asleep.
I experience that my "soul" floating around the room and i could sometimes felt that i got much smaller also and everyting became much bigger. And randomly sometimes in middle of day i could felt that my parents got like 2,5meters tall and talked much slowlier and the room felt verry big .
This were very real experiences and i wondering what that wus all about??

This happens to me every once in awhile. I dont like it. That buzzing sound I hear in both my ears is uncomfortable too. I also feel like I stop breathing when I'm about to come out of my body which trips me out. My eyes want to close too but I fight to keep it open. I can get out of it by lifting my arm up. I wake up then immediately I fall asleep it happens again. Kind of annoying since it ruins my beauty nap. Maybe one of these days I'll go a little further, but I'm scared of heights. Haha
My problem with excepting the OOBE is that there is no proof that it really does happen. I guess one way someone could prove that he is actually leaving his body would be to have someone physically write something on a piece of paper in another part of town at a specific time and have the OOBE subject go there and watch him write it then tell what he wrote after coming back to his body. If the OOBE is a reality then this test should show favorable results every time.

Okay, everybody listen up. Insidious is 100% wrong regarding astral projection, the only thing they got correct about it is that one can leave his/body. What they did not mention or show was the fact that you have a silver cord connecting your astral body to your physical body. That link stays as long as you are alive and nothing can enter your body. The SECOND thing is that you can manifest whatever you want in the astral world, light, weapons, etc. whatever your imagination can perceive......

My question here is. When you experience OBE, are the things you see real or you're just creating them in your mind? what I mean is, they say you can visit people in matter of seconds, dead relatives etc...but would I be creating that in my mind because that is what I desire to see and do? or will I really be present in that room where that person may be watching tv...and I'd be just staring at them...at the real person? It is just a bit confusing.
The reason I probably won't do this is because of the hallucinations. I know they can't hurt me, but I'd be scared shitless and probably wouldn't be able to get back to sleep properly for ages after.

Nothing 'leaves' the body... it is merely a focus of awareness transfering to the non-physical self... nothing 'leaves' the body. If it did... wouldn't that mean the body was dead?

A focus of awareness leaves the physical mind in some respects... we do it every night/morning when we dream. The difference between an OOBE and a dream is the level of awareness and focus.

Those things don't know when you sleep. if they catch you while you sleep... If one of those things spot you while your in an obe they'll go straight for your body. People usually put some form of protection over there body before going into an obe.

@yusufulhas I think you are forgetting a very important element of the OBE. In every OBE, the "traveler" will notice a long light-blue cord connecting them to the body. No matter what happens, this cord cannot be severed unless the body is completely dead. This cord is the energy that indefinitely connects the soul with the body. In a way you are traveling outside your body, but no one can take it from you. Its already connected indefinitely to you via that light-blue cord.
@Bedeekin No, there is a silver cord attached to the physical body that keeps the astral body from permanently leaving the physical self behind. At death, it breaks and you are out of your body.

Your point of view changes the pretence of the question from “How can I have an OOB” to “Should I have an OOB” – again, I am not certain that an OOB is spiritual at all, but rather an experience where the conscious mind and sub-conscious mind are both awake and aware at the same time. I can induce the vibrational state at will… and although the experiences in this state are very realistic, I cannot confirm that they are not simply me consciously acknowledging and controlling dreams.

I had very freaky experiences when i wus a little kid and i wus afraid of to go asleep.
I experience that my "soul" floating around the room and i could sometimes felt that i got much smaller also and everyting became much bigger. And randomly sometimes in middle of day i could felt that my parents got like 2,5meters tall and talked much slowlier and the room felt verry big .
This were very real experiences and i wondering what that wus all about??

This happens to me every once in awhile. I dont like it. That buzzing sound I hear in both my ears is uncomfortable too. I also feel like I stop breathing when I'm about to come out of my body which trips me out. My eyes want to close too but I fight to keep it open. I can get out of it by lifting my arm up. I wake up then immediately I fall asleep it happens again. Kind of annoying since it ruins my beauty nap. Maybe one of these days I'll go a little further, but I'm scared of heights. Haha

My problem with excepting the OOBE is that there is no proof that it really does happen. I guess one way someone could prove that he is actually leaving his body would be to have someone physically write something on a piece of paper in another part of town at a specific time and have the OOBE subject go there and watch him write it then tell what he wrote after coming back to his body. If the OOBE is a reality then this test should show favorable results every time.

My question here is. When you experience OBE, are the things you see real or you're just creating them in your mind? what I mean is, they say you can visit people in matter of seconds, dead relatives etc...but would I be creating that in my mind because that is what I desire to see and do? or will I really be present in that room where that person may be watching tv...and I'd be just staring at them...at the real person? It is just a bit confusing.

A focus of awareness leaves the physical mind in some respects... we do it every night/morning when we dream. The difference between an OOBE and a dream is the level of awareness and focus.

Those things don't know when you sleep. if they catch you while you sleep... If one of those things spot you while your in an obe they'll go straight for your body. People usually put some form of protection over there body before going into an obe.

@yusufulhas I think you are forgetting a very important element of the OBE. In every OBE, the "traveler" will notice a long light-blue cord connecting them to the body. No matter what happens, this cord cannot be severed unless the body is completely dead. This cord is the energy that indefinitely connects the soul with the body. In a way you are traveling outside your body, but no one can take it from you. Its already connected indefinitely to you via that light-blue cord.
