ur columbian is obviously is tame my colbumain is very nice never bit me hes about 7-8 months old and iv never been able to get him to eat live things no mice pinkies roaches worms crickets nothin if it moves he dont like it

@packercarlsenac they can get docile with a little TLC and mine to hold loves it but he will always be a skiddish lil one but u learn to love it just takes about the same time and holding and such as most reptiles as far as them being nice mine has never bitten anyone he getts a little huffy when i wake him up lol but once hes held hes a baby. If u do get one enjoy it there a pain but there alota fun

@TheExtremeRaptor lol, ur comment is fairly old...but none the less their are people who feed their tegus mice and insects for their hole life, and just in case ur one of them, try and feed ur tegu a variaty of foods, like caned tuna, eggs, or ground beef. some people spend wayyyyyyyyyyyy to much on food for these guys,

1 can of tuna ( that costs 2$ ) is good for 3 meals for a little 10 month old tegu, if he eats every 2-3 days

or a 6 pack of eggs for 4$ thats good for god know how long
