All I think about with this video is something is ready to scare the crap out of me, and the weird astronaut thing is just creepy and unnecessary, almost like you are trying to creep people out.
@kendrapeace ur gonna take advice off of a guy u dont even know on youtube? im not saying that it is or isnt normal but my heartbeat increased and so did my breathing at one point
I THINK, for those people experiencing negative side effects, eg a feeling of discomfort or unease, is something to do with their Theta waves being stimulated. The sense of mortal fear/doom/horror that is often attached to sleep paralysis and it's hallucinations is something to do with abnormal theta waves... @Hammy: could this be possible?
It felt like I was on an airplane with the strong hum taking over my body. When I'm on an airplane I easily loose touch with reality, it felt the same with this video LOL
've heard that theta and good to internalize something you just learned. this clip did you help with this too? sound and video? what is the main purpose of it?

while counting backwards with the headphones still in i thought i faintly heard voices... i took my headphones out, silence. anyone else experience this?
This video is fantastic. It gave me a really deep relaxed feeling (as if my whole body felt 'heavy' similar to just prior to the onset of sleep paralysis).
It is required that the listener use headphones. WARNING: play the files before putting on the headphones in order to set a safe volume, as the onset of the sound is quite abrupt and quite loud at first.
@Adrienkane this video is supposed to provide binaural beats which requires one frequency to be played in one ear and a different frequency to be played in the other. When both these different frequencies are processed by your brain you hear a third "ghost" frequency or that sort of "wavy" sound you hear. Without headphones you get Monaural beats.
The current frequency that your brain is supposed to create is a Theta wave. Google binaural beats if ya want a better understanding of this video.
In this particular session, there are numerous sounds simultaneously playing. This includes white noise and binaural beats in the theta frequencies. The key here is to embrace the sounds and not fight them. If it is too loud turn it down. You need to hear the sounds but to also be comfortable .
@azenis112 that's the point.... the pulsing is all in your head. two tones of different pitches are sent to each ear and as your brain trys to figure out where its coming from, it causes the sound to pulsate. look it up on wikipedia

@VooDooAUS its from 2001 space odyssey
its a really good film, the special effects and general feel of it really does destroy what people do with CGI.

Is there a reason why we must wear headphones other then the reason that others might obviously not want to hear the noise

So where do you get these binaural beats? Do you find them online or make your own? If you do make your own, with what software do you do so?
