@spenzur This recording is actually not playing at the right "frequency" for lack of a better term.... you can hear the pitch of the recording waver up and down at some spots, and at 3:30 it goes to the right pitch. That explains why her voice sounds different!

no matter if it's the right "frequency" or not, with verdi fleming is just totally out of her fach. she sounds awful!

Her voice sounds a bit weird here. Its because of the timbre and trills I recognize her, otherwize I wouldn't know hahaha. Very well sung though!

Wow. Thanks for uploading this. She hits the high note perfectly. Maybe everyone who watched that other video will listen to this and realize that she can sing this aria very well. Brava!

actually she scoops in order to reach it but she does reach it and sustain it and this is E6 natural - it is amazing a voice like Fleming's to be doing something like this live (Gruberova scoops like this all the time and everywhere and she is a pure coloratura) but Fleming has sung E6s straight on too in her Viaggio
