I really don't understand why people are still bashing Jake. He's a phenomenal Quarterback, and did so many things for the Panthers. I may not be much of a Panthers fan, but I am a fan of Delhomme. The Cardinals game was a fluke, and I'm a Cardinals fan.
The guy also won the QB skills competition at the Pro Bowl, and threw the ball farther than Carson Palmer, but his arm strength is rated pretty crappy in Madden. His physical tools are underrated, I think.
Big things from 17 this season. Good QB's arent as easy to find as many of you suggest especially with everyone in college running the spread offense now.

Awesome video. Thanks so much for posting. I'm a die hard Panthers fan and a die hard Jake supporter until, sadly, this season. But, we had many good seasons with Jake and I will not hold this one against him. It's just simply time to part ways. It was a really fun and special run (especially the Super Bowl).

he was close to be one some day, he was really close to get to that leavel.
But it did not happend, and is never gonna happend , he is not getting any yonger and right now is a total mess,

as a panthers fan, we need to get delhomme to have as good as a season as possible, then see if ANYBODY will trade for him, because we need to draft somebody, i'd gladly take my chances w/ sam bradford. Smith isn't young anymore no telling how many years he's got left, and we got 2 running backs both young and amazing, if we had lets say chad pennington, a decent special teams, and some form of pass defense, we'd be amazing

The guy also won the QB skills competition at the Pro Bowl, and threw the ball farther than Carson Palmer, but his arm strength is rated pretty crappy in Madden. His physical tools are underrated, I think.
