  • @Terranscapes There is some kinda of very cool looking dread naught looking machine at 0:08 in this clip what is it?

  • @DonJelopy I can't remember its exact name but its from the AT-43 miniatures game by Rackham.

  • Is the tint of the water done with inks added to the resin?

  • @EwanBlackmane The base of the water is painted and resin is tinted with ink. Sometimes I tint with paint for a different effect, such as murky/muddy water. I am still exploring tinting the water I expect to use a combination of these in future projects.

  • If I could talk my friends into playing 40k with me I'd drop a G on this board in a moment.

I thought of a couple ideas of new modular pieces that might be nice for this set:

-Ork style pueblo buildings built into mesa/ mesa walls (like you see in the southwest). Not sure if it should inculde ork "tech" on it so it could be either fantasy or scifi. Maybe at least some crude metal bits. A lighter tan walls

-A metal bunker type structure with a dull greensih oxidized roof to match the river

  • @chicophi220 A bunker is long overdue. Once I put out the next board set near the middle of the year the bunker will probably follow quickly. Keep an eye on TerranScapes newsletters for updates on these projects.

    Thanks for the ideas!

  • that is insane

  • wow, thats cool

  • You make amazing stuff!

  • water tends to take the fastest way down but on this one it looks like the water has been flowing out to the farthest point before forming a waterfall. Im sure one could find a place where that has happened but it would be very uncommon.

  • You make some great points (including comments on the size of the falls for the size of the mountain which you may have removed). I will be redesigning the lip of the falls in the future to be cut back which affords a lot of advantages for realism. The size of the mountain and the flow of the river are somewhat constrained by the scale of the existing river (got feed it somehow *smile*) and the maximum height of a cliff on a 10" x 10" board. Keep an eye out for lots of improvements.

  • Yea I was trying to fit my whole post in two boxes, didnt work all that well. Perhaps I should send my ideas another way next time. Assuming you wouldnt mind.

  • Your comments are are very useful criticism and I would love to hear more. You can add as many comments to the list as you see fit. :) I find YouTube feedback to be a nice honest public forum for discussion of my work so go at it.

  • You're the best terrain-maker on Youtube man. Everything is so well done and painted to perfection. Amazing work.

I'd love to see you take on a 'fall' or 'autumn' type thing if you get the commission to show, it would be cool to see some colored trees and little leaves n what have you.
