  • hi briansredd. do you still have the dnd4500? i am tossing up between the 4500 and the 6000. do you (or anyone) have any views as to which is better in terms of basic functions?

  • AWESOME!@ VERY INFORMATIVE

  • This is looks like a decent CD player. We might be getting one of these at our club. The memo feature seems cool, but the load time is unbelievable. I can't see it being a great time saver for live gigs. It should be virtually instantaneous. Oh well.

  • Can You Run Traktor Or Serato On a DN-D4500??

  • if you have the control cd's, yes. but its not a midi controler.

  • Thats nice work.

    1. How do i get out of a loop?

    2. once a loop is on and i play a different track on the same cd.... it gets a little confusing to switch between the actual song and the loop...plz explain

    3. i don't see too much of a function for the white ring around the jog wheel............

Would really appreciate if you could post a video on the same

    Thanks

  • how can u delete a hot start point and set another one on the same cd. i'm havin trouble.....after settin a loop or hot start points i cant delete the previous points to do another one on the same disc.

  • Thanks so much for this video!I use this unit at a club I DJ at and have never come across it before so I needed to learn FAST!This vid helped me to understand a lot about it,especially the pitch bit (I was on one occasion baffled as to why the pitch adjust was making no difference to the track and had to constantly use the pitch bend to keep the mix going,I now realise I must of turned the pitch control off D'OH!)

Again thanks for this,I'll feel a lot more confident using this unit tonight :)

  • WOW! this really helped me understand the memo feature on the Denon units. Now I can't wait to get home and play around with it on my HD2500!!

  • that was real nice! sad for me I dont have any dj gears yet. what's the title of the song and the artist?

  • Thanks Man , great help! Now can everybody help me with this question: what is the main difference between Denon dn-d4500 with the new Denon dn-hd2500?? thank you

  • lo malo esq no hay dinero si no me lo compro soy panameño y mi sueño es ser el mejor dj del mundo

  • i bought a couple of these denon cd players and never knew how to use these features, thanks very much. i knew there was more to this player lol

  • i hope every body that own dnd4500 or the 3500 or 3000 or 6000 hes help you wh thes video thanks brian

  • Man i have to tell you that this video realy helped mee thanks bro!

    good luck and take care!

  • No problem at all! You sould tell Denon that you found it usefull

  • @fersen77 sorry man by accident pressed the vote down , sorry

  • what it is best (d4500 0 dn9000)

  • The price tags should give you a pretty good clue

  • Higher the price, better the product.

  • you are too white, im also too white. thats why i edit video. at least you are a kick ass white vynl dude

  • I can't help it. English is STILL my friend :P

  • That has got to save you some time at gigs :)

How much are these over there and would it work er in the uk?

    Laterz

  • Here, you are looking at around $400. I'm pretty sure you can get these in the UK. Groovindj just got himself some new Denon kit.

  • GREAT video, I have an dn-x100 mixer on order now from denon they have some preety good products I particularly like this piece of equipment but I love scratching too much to buy it with my tight budget lol

    DJ_Tazer

  • thanks man

  • hey brian, procontavia here. i was wondering on how accurate is the pitch? what is the smallest resolution of the pitch? and can you cut the loops into half like those pioneer decks. hope you'll do a vid on this. your friendly mobster, procontavia.

  • The pitch is to the 10th and no, you can't slice loops in half

  • Sure beats the pants off of the old Denon DN-2000 I used to have.

  • Pretty good tut B, the same pretty much applies to the DN-S3500s except if you want to have two decks with the same memo you need to hook them up with standard male-male audio connectors(same ones on small headphones).

  • Oh really? That's good to know!

  • yea if your gonna get tabletop cdjs get the dn-s3500s they are great!!

  • I've been eyeing them for quite some time

  • I love the DN-S3500s! Top decks, top features with a better price than the MK3s, And since you have the DN-X1500 perfect combo!

  • nice. i like the fact that u can make 2 loops, but i've known that since forever, from one of your earlier vids.

the loops would come in very handly.

about the memos: would u set a whole bunch of them before u go out on a gig? do u personally even use them?

  • There is some review here, but that's just to show that you can do several settings in 1 memo. No, I don't use the Memo function. I'm doing my live mixes in Mixmeister

  • I'm a professional full time DJ in Australia. This is what I do for a living, and you still manage to show me something new. Thanks man. The other DJs in my company and myself have never used that function before. Not once, but I bet they will now that they know what it does.

  • Right on! It's all about sharing info. By the way, I spent quite a bit of time in Croydon Park & Burrwood back in 2001. It's good to know that there is a DJ in Sydney watching so next time I'm in town, I have someone to gig with :)

  • absolutely. i am head dj at the bristol arms on sussex. also known as the retro. right in the heart of the city. but we mainly use a computer system called nightlife now, have you head of it?

  • No, I haven't. Think you could do a video on it next time you spin?

  • Great video...would it be at all possible for u to make a video on the BPM counter of the Denon's??? im trying to find a solid player with somewhat precise counters on them cause instead of me worrying about cueing up another song, i can do tone sampling or put effects to a song...thanks

  • I think that first video response above covers the BPM counter. It's not always 100% accurate, but none are. It's probibly as good as any other BPM counter in a piece of hardware. Mixmeister is thus far the best one I've found. It's a free download!

  • Awesome man...ill look into it, thanks

  • Very nicely done, ;-)

  • Excellent video and really nice functions,especially memo's function.U can really prepare urself a pre-set mix! 5*

  • This is a cool piece of kit, I could have fun with that. Im currently trawling around for some cd dex to start off with, dont think it'll be these tho. Somat around £200

  • My advice would be "Don't go for something too cheap" as you'll be disappointed after using them for a while. Go for something in the mid range, even 2nd hand would be better than the low end players.

  • The reason I bought these was because they were quality, yet not nearly as expensive as Pioneer decks. That and they play MP3 files. That was a big deal to me before I went Laptop.

  • I'd like to mess around with one of thoes someday. That's something I don't own... tabletop units.

  • Very interesting video. If you want to mess around with some table top units, just let me know. Dreams can come true. ;)
