I have read a couple of Sherlock Holmes books and I was surprised that Sherlock Holmes was played by Robert Downey, I know he's a great actor but I never imagine he was the one who played the part...

Nevertheless, I'm still going to watch this great movie...

and I think this is a very good adaptation of the book... well, that was just my own opinion... so, no need to have a violent reaction:D

For the record, I'm not British I'm Irish, and yes I already knew Guy Ritchie was the director. While I do own and love all of his movies it doesn't change the fact that this film looks like nothing more than a freely adapted attempt to remake a classic into something worse.
