Alright i just gotta say this. The year is 2011 and i am 19 years old. While other people my age are out spending all this money on the new transformer movies and all that other hollywood money grabbing BS. I watch woody allen films. And its a shame that most people my age aren't watching him and some dont even know who he is. His movies were made 30 years ago and they are still far better than a lot of that crap that is being made today. Thats all i wanted to say. Woody allen is a genius!
wonderful wonderful wonderful actress. her rare performances captivated me when i was a teen but i still didn't realise how GOOD she was. now i'm in my 50s and can recognise her brilliance. she is amazing.
I've never seen anything like this before... I'd never even heard of Charlotte Rampling until I saw this film. And now I think she's incredible. Her character is a mentally unstable actress -- here, she's in a mental institution and being visted by her ex. Everything about this is perfect.
I liked this flick for it's hillarious moments, I could care less about whether or not there were any intended connections to Fellini or Bergman or Clint fucking Eastwood for that matter. When you laugh here, you'll laugh hard, that's all that counts.
Charlotte Rampling is teaming up with Woody Allen's other famed muse, Judy Davis, in an adaption of Patrick White's modernist Australian novel The Eye of the Storm, playing a tyrannical matriach facing her mortality. Judy, of course, is playing the neurotic cerebral daughter who can't wait for the bitch to die.
@sufferajetsettee Try, just try to contribute anything near to what he has chronicled on the human condition, and see if you can be flippantly criticized by someone foolish enough to post your home address on your site. Think about your privacy and the security you have compromised. So sad...Woody is a National Treasure.
@sufferajetsettee Try, just try to create anything NEAR to the body of work he has pumped out. THERE ARE NO MONUMENTS TO CRITICS--especially on YouTube!
She has the same expression in all her films -- very serious and dark.

Like Woody Allen would score with a dame like C.R. Talk about suspension of disbelief!
