  • é sem duvida uma das coisas mais bem feitas que eu ja vi, parabens

  • I would buy this TODAY if it works with Logic and PT9. I LOVE this controller!!!!!

  • can i please buy the midi controller

  • hey man when is this controller avaliable to purchase ?????

  • ive never seen anyone put it that far with cubase. Brilliant.

  • WoW learn to focus!!!

  • Hey Paulo, the idea of putting knobs over an lcd screen is genius. You could create templates for most software synths, and even a tool for letting users creat their templates (even if they are only a static bitmap)

  • @pierbover I already did that :-) But the software has an screen which allows you to make your OWN new template.

  • @PauloEgidioSilva

this is simply brilliant. The perfect, indeed ultimate controller.

  • @PauloEgidioSilva And where can you download this software/templates?

  • Very intresting! I have a question : how did you modify the GUI of the plugins so the software pots on the screen fit the hardware ones? I would be pleased if I could tweak the GUI of some VSTs in order to make them match with the arrangement of my control surface's pots...

    Thanks

    Val

  • I do not modifiy the gui of the plugins :-) Not only it will be VERY dificult, if not impossible, if would lead to all kinds of legal issues. What I do is put a simple user BITMAP and let the user choose a transparent color. When you see the dials moving you are seeing the gui plugin behind my form. The program moves the gui windows to a position which can be altered by the user so the plugin gui keep itself under the form.

  • The program does the drawing of the pot POSITION - which is a simple yellow bar, all else is a user bitmap. I let the user create it so it will be easy to anyone to program more plugins - there's a configuration screen for plugins which is not shown at the video. There you can configure which plugin parameter is tied to which pot and or button - altough is difficult to see, there's 22 on/off buttons at the bottom of the device. People only sees the pots :-). Thanks for asking!

  • Would this work with Reaper? :)

  • star trek graphics? HAHAHAHA!!!!

  • @gix10000 yeah LCARS, wooo!

  • Ce eh loko mesmo mano, nunca tinha visto algo tao funcional quanto isso!

    Voce pretende vender algum modelo?

  • e ai loco véi... tem como me passa o link do forum esse pra da uma olhadinha lá? adorei isso ai... eu mexo um pouco com mido, mais por hobby, e queria tirar uma idéias de lá.

    abração

  • wow. how can a similar setup be obtained?

  • You'll have to be a professional c++ programmer... there was a technical discussion at the kvr forum, altough if you want more info :-)

  • cool. cant u get funded to patent, manufacture n sell this kinda stuff ?

  • Patent, no. Funded, don't make me laugh. :-(

Manufacture? I'm doing this for about a year, now. I'm half of the way.

perhaps I would be selling this next (2010) year.

    Thnaks for asking :-)

  • Im loving the whole Starfleet theme. Nice.

  • Wow very good Idea!

How long does it take to recode the gui for the specialized plugin for the controller lcd?

  • Paulo, I'm very impressed!

I have EXACTLY the same mixer (01v96v2) and I use Cubase too!

I'm really interested in your work! Please... could you give me some informations on how to build the WONDERFUL touchscreen????!

    Simon

  • Paulo, very good, i like a lot, congratulations

    marcão(the cable man) abraços

  • Yeah, I'm well aware of it unfortunately :)

Well, go PT and you sold another one!

Anyway, keep up the really good work man!

  • is it just me, or does this look like star trek?

  • hehehe. it does. Look for a more detailed discussion at gearslutz... or kvraudio

  • Man, the screen controller is great!

What about Pro Tools? Will the plugin controller work with it?

  • hmmm. probably yes, but with a lesser degree of integration, since pro tools is a closed system. They see controllers as competitors, since they also sell hardware...

    Paulo

  • Great! Brilliant! I'll buy it.

  • hey Paulo, you really got the point!!

hope it won't come up too expensive.

congratz!! it is a real cutting edge in cotroller's market.

    orgulho de ser brazuca!!

parabéns e muito sorte nesse seu futuro promissor!

  • Whats your website? I want to bookmark it so I can come back and maybe purchase it when ti comes out.

  • When the first unit will be ready and working, we will open the web site. Until then, please come back here for any news.

    Thanks for your interest,

    Paulo

  • This is incredibly cool, are you planning on customizing it to work with Ableton Live as well? I'd love to have a more tactile way of controlling my Live setup.

  • After we establish the production, PROBABLY Logic and Ableton will be next...

  • You must be getting offers from companies to make this commercially? You are onto something real big here, I hope you go far with this.

  • I hope too. We should have the first ones for sale in the 3rd quarter 2009.

  • dude, you are AMAZING! you obviously have a MASSIVE amount of knowledge, creativity, and at the same time, you are very humble and polite. If only everyone on youtube demonstrating their stuff was as cool as you!

  • Hey, that was realy nice...

    Thanks, man...

  • Meu DEUS....to querendo um controle desse com knobs. Servem para controlar outros programas ?

    Parabéns.!!!!

    not only for cubase :-(

  • Very nice Work Paulo.

Look forward to seeing the auction.

  • You are a crazy guy.

  • da até orgulho de ver um brasileiro assim haushasas

  • Men I usually never leave a comment , and its very hard to be impress in a site like you tube, but you this is truly amazing, been able to control so many parameters in the way you just showed out of the box its a great achievement!

If you make this one, for Logic, I would be paying up to 2000 grand, easy

If is only for Cubase, I guess I will have to change DAW, haha

    Cheers from Mexico

  • Thanks for all the comments.

I´d like to tell you that the first auctions of this product will be available at ebay on the third quarter of 2009.
