Someone said that John Fogerty had Dylan influence...could be....I dont't think Fogerty needed influence from Dylan, whom I also love..its apples and oranges. I think he put more stock in some of the crusty old, black musicians, backwoods bluesy-jazzy bayou players.. pioneers of the 50s and 60's..but he clearly was, and is, following his own musical instincts, which continue to be brilliant,almost super-human at his age...he is a beast.
