Do you still house your Caiman with RES? How does that go over? I just rescued a caiman...two days ago and am planing my basement enclosure (12' by 12') and would LOVE to have some LARGE RES in it. Thanks anyone who can help!
@crocodilian18 sorry this is a late reply but your comment was really stupid smaller caiman can live in glass tanks with out a problem infact you will rarely see baby caimans that are pets in anything else.
Does anyone know where I can purchase a male or female dwarf caiman? I am an experienced reptile keeper and have the money and space to accomodate them
nothing wrong with the turtles, but ur tank is disgusting. no hide, no real land mass and ur caiman is much longer than ur tank is wide. thanks for giving caiman keepers a bad name.
Algea does not effect tanks in anyway, in fact in most tanks it is a benefit as it provides a more natural habitat, covers shy animals and fish can gra\e on it. so dont critisize abouth the algea. lol
dude these people keep complaining about how dirty the enclosure is screw them species of reptiles love plants it makes them feel safe and secure and im sure there is seaweed and algae where they live...
Also after looking at your channel i realise that your from RFUK, put this link on the forum and they will crucify you, they will completely agree with me that, that tank you had him in was discusting and small for such a large animal.
@Marko129 I have been on RFUK for years, they actually loved the video, and your spelling of live and algae was wrong .... anyway its none of your concern !
@Marko129 You are the definition of a dirty, stupid, white shemale. do you even know where paleos come from? do some research on their natural habitat before talking like you know your shit
nicee caiman i wish i had one :( in this moment i only have 4 budgies, 1 alligator gar who ate my pangasius shark, a golden gecko and two dogs a labrator and a german sheperd
holayyy he looks beesty man i love it! i got 2 caiman today to males and there in a 6ft tank for right now there pretty sweet ther 09s here tiny buggers one of them already bit me but it didnt hurt much hhaha it was alright there settled in now thank gawd there here! lol yours is sweet looking cant wait till mine get big:)
Your enclosure is too small. There should be enough room to turn around without touching the sides of the enclosure. It looks nice and healthy though!
