Anyone who replies with a video like you do to a guy like Emeek77 who has no intention to start any intelligent discussion and whose sole puprose is to say nothing but bad things about Windows/Microsoft in over 2 years on YouTube, is as much as an idiot as he is.
Give me one good reason why I'm wrong with that observation.
What linux distro are you using? I just use Ubuntu on my machine no dual boot. I used to dual boot Vista and Ubuntu, but after a while I realized that I didn't need Microsoft. Even if Windows 7 turns out to be a great os I will not switch to it. There will be security issues with it no doubt and that is the reason that I will not feed the Microsoft Hog.
i installed windows7 and got rid of vista well impressed with windows7 installed old software programs runs perfect, i duel boot windows7 and linux have to say i still prefer linux- cool review bud
Well, I may not be a typical user. Yes, I do know how to skin XP. You have to patch the uxtheme.dll file to run 3rd party themes. My XP desktop looks like Vista
Other than the fact that XP has been around long enough to have a lot of kinks worked out of it, Vista is a better OS than XP. Vista is not a bad operating system once service packs fix some of the issues. Movie Maker for Vista a better than XP's movie maker. I don't know about Windows 7 but if it doesn't come with extras similar to ILife then its not worth it to me to upgrade. I'll stay with vista unless they give me Window 7 for free.
WMM Live Beta sucks. It has limited transition effects, limited audio effects, no titles and no way to capture from a Web Camera. WMM in XP is much better.
Significant learning curve: that's to be expected, but when an upgrade doesn't need all that, it's so much better.
I use mostly Ubuntu Linux and Mac. I have known Mac for a long time, and am still learning Linux, but the learning is fun for me.
Lack of bundled apps: BIG reason why windows is so much cheaper.
