I don't follow cricket at all but I understand why he did that bowl and to be honest I thought that was smart, why would you risk the game? In the NFL you get offences taking a knee in the last minutes of a game to seal a victory by burning the clock and not risking a play. In AFL you contantly see teams kicking the ball back and forth to burn the clock so they don't risk an interception, even in League you get players bitching it i.e. Marshall.
