@misslady7880 Ryan thought that being a bad boy would've gotten him noticed better, or stand out to the kids as someone they could use. At the end of this show we find out he's actually like an army brat or something and he doesn't know how to fit in. And that he's actually not bad at all.

This is the one time I remember Ryan really coming off as the bad boy. After this he's pretty much a bookworm and often the voice of reason for the group.
