The day Willemientjie was executed, I cried! The day a friend of mines parents in their 80s were strung up with barbed wire and both their arms cut off, I went crazy. This was three months ago! They raped the dog and hacked the livestock to pieces cutting off the cows udders. They said they were hungry ... food was still cooking on the stove. The government is fearfull of food security. Across South Africa, approximately 46 people are murdered EVERY DAY. @sasmarts - yeah I totally agree, you have to leave religion out of this. Religion will cause this movie to fail. Not everybody shares the same beliefs. Many people have no beliefs and see religion as something "verkrampt" . Another point - if the farmers and the community in general had spent less time waiting for their god to save them and had actually DONE something to efficiently combat the bloody farm murders, it wouldn´t have escalated to such high numbers. @sasmarts You make a valid point. I did exclude religion and politics from this film but I can only tell the story as it was told to me. If the victims were religious I showed it and if the victims were political I showed it. The approach of the film is to show how sick our society is and how society is responsible for farm attacks/murders. I tried a more intellectual approach to the problem and tried to keep emotions, politics and religion out of it. It wasn't always possible....

@lizawantsmore hi, I did this documentary with private funding so I am only , now that it is finished, trying to get a broadcaster on board. It is intended for the international market but it would be really cool if I can get one of the local broadcaster to air it. Due to the nature of the content of this film it will be difficult but I am trying. Will let you know how things go.
