very simple writing in that book...the thing meets the lost boys...I read an artical in a magazine where niles ridicules up and coming artist for their effort at making comic books...his writing suck's and what makes him the judge of artistic endeavors leave that to stan lee...

i disagree, Transformers 2007 was quite good. With a budget of 175 Mill I dont think they could have put anymore cg robots up on the big screen then they had already.

But the fake one this summer? Uh-uh. What there was like 5 Autobots and 30 humans? "Transformers. Guest Starring ... The Transformers!" BAH!

Well the movie had to appeal to a wider audience otherwise it wouldn't be such a great success. Although 'd love to, they can't just make a movie that's just for the fans. You have to admit though that is was really awesome to see all that Transformers action. I'm sure part 2 will be even cooler. Part 2 will definitely have more Transformers in it!

I hope so, though again I disagree with the whole "see all that Transformers action." They always focused on the humans. And the worst was when they cut away to Shia Laboeuf during the Megatron/Optimus throwdown. Cheap, cheap, cheap way to save on budget.

Collest moment was the freeway chase fight. That's it.

Yup. 80's "Transformers" movie is one of the greatest movies ever. I saw it in the theater when I was 5 and remember as I was walking out of the theater with my aunt I remember telling myself "Don't cry, don't cry, because if you start to cry you will never, ever stop." So traumatizing. New transformers looked like recycled engines. I call lame.

Another great piece. I wonder about the pronunciation on "ex machina". Then again it is latin, so you could get away with just about anything.

I usually prefer that my elitist comics have an elitist artist to top it off -- Like a Michael Dringenberg, Malcolm Jones III, Bill Sienkiewicz, Duncan Fegredo. You get the point. Realism is fine and all, but I find that comic art is best when artists play to the mediums strengths -- highly stylized linework often enhance tropes like paneling.
