Taken off their awesome 20 Jazz Funk Greats album which i thought was a brilliant title for an album which (A) had no jazz funk on it whatsoever & (B) didn't contain 20 tracks!!!!
It was my introduction to the crazy world of Throbbing Gristle.....absolutely ace!
Kind of a weird mixture, but not entirely disconnected as I always thought that the parts in the film where they're trying to get the radio to come in sounded like TG music.
I dont know any of throbbing gristle's music but i do know this film. That was one of the best marriages of sound and vision i've seen in a long time thanks
one of their rare moments of beauty

walkabout is a great movie, and hamburger lady is a TG masterpiece.

"Walkabout" cleverly precedes "What a Day" on 20 Jazz Funk Greats.
A world of possibility unfolding, and the sealed soul nurtured, only to be scraped against metal and belting torment on "What a Day"

Quite melodic for TG.

Reminds me of a mix of Kraftwerk and Boards of Canada.
