@veeseee128 That's Johnnie Wilder you're talking about, who unfortunately passed a few years back. He was the group's leader, and reportedly he passed over on some of the songs Rod Temperton wrote. Rod then passed the songs onto other people, who then had big hits with them. One of them, according to Keith Wilder, was Rock With You, which was of course a big hit for Michael Jackson!

co-lead singer and co-producer singer johnnie wilder wound up in a car accident which left him paralyzed from the waist down.

bassist mantes got stabbed by his girlfriend who was pissed with him, and he was dead for a few minutes...after a coma he was paralyzed and blind. he eventually got his sight and movement back, but , yeah, couldn't perform.
