  • hell yes thx for upload :D

  • The last time I heard this song was on the Dr. Demento radio show in the late 80's. Strangely, I only remembered the third verse, but it was good enough to type into Google and end up here. Thanks for the memories.

  • This song is in the conelrad radio station mod for f3/new vegas

  • "It was given by the mighty hand of god"

its a great song, laughed myself to pieces first time i heard it tho, they dont make lyrics like these any more.

  • i am one of the brothers great grandson RIP pop

  • Thank you for that! very interesting... >_>

  • How about adding some grease to those deprived bearings. Anyway, the government did not do it's job protecting it's soldiers or citizens from 200-plus nuclear test. At the time this record was made, average Americans just didn't know the facts.

  • nices

    the year record

  • trash with great lyrics though, which god in fact ?

  • Its catchy.

  • I love this song, I've known about it for years through Rounder Records's "Atomic Cafe" compilation.

    Atomic power! Atomic power,

Was given by the mighty hand of God...

  • thank you for your upload

  • Holy shit.

  • I'm amazed this never made it to any of the fallout games

  • Seconded.

  • @Starshark2006 haha yeah, that would have great! i hope they have it in new vegas

  • Yeah really. It is so stupid though that it's entertaining and they actually were good musicians.

  • Medicine Man - Buchanan Brothers

  • That is funny. I've never heard it before.

  • There's a great cover of this on Jello Biafra and Mojo Nixon's album, Prairie Home Invasion.

  • Cool! I haven't been on here in a while so sorry for the delay getting back to you. I will have to check out the cover. Thanks for the heads up!

  • What you said at the end pretty much sums up my comment. These postings of yours are of inestimable value because they offer us a peek into our own culture from long ago. I recently read about an archaeologist who specializes in ancient musical instruments. He said that we can recreate the sounds the instruments made but without sheet music, we have no idea in what manner they were played or what the music sounded like. Your videos are a way of preserving that part of our history for us.

  • Welcome to YouTube!!! Great old song, thanks for posting it.
