  • Fucking great.

  • Damn, those arpeggios around 1:04 makes me feel like I'm in Maridia in Super Metroid. and this rise starting at 2:35 and reaching its paroxysm, exploding about 3 minutes later is just a surge of dopamint in my brain. This is a good drug.

  • @rick4318 Take Refuge in Clean Living is my favorite Grails record, with Black Tar Prophecies a very close 2nd.

  • @mikhkos OM. They're one half of Sleep, so that can only be good.

  • listen to when on acid

  • ...stoned on youtube again.

  • The most relentlessly tasteful band I believe I've ever heard.

EVERY song they've ever recorded is laid out with such amazing flow - in the strangest ways. I LOVE this noise. ALL OF IT!!! What a wonderful way of going.

Many thanks to Grails, they are thrice great! I wish them much high grade, exotic Cannabis.

  • exelent song guys!!!

  • drugs are bad, mmmmk

  • rlly rlly bad, mmmk

  • A good song, though Grails has many far better in my opinion.

  • @IAmTheWoodenDoors

Like what? I'm new to Grails.

  • While working at Important Records, I must have listened to this album a hundred times. It never got old. The Grails rock!

  • Still love it!

  • Grails is good but very unoriginal. So many bands have been doing this exact same thing for SO LONG. Listen to SWANS from the 80s/90s for an example. The music is basically the same in structure as every other post-rock group. Listen to Do Make Say Think or Mono for an example of some sick instrumental rock!!

  • disagreed completely. the way they combine psychedelia, classic rock, and post-rock is very original, and while i enjoy DMST and mono, i think grails is a much better band.

  • I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with you fullonnight. Not saying they're a bad band at all, I quite enjoy 'em but I've head it all before.

  • This was my first listen to the Grails.I've just listened to this song 7 times and I don't have words to describe how awsome I think this song is. At some point I felt as if I was having a religious experience.Good God,what a feeling. An amazing band,an amazing song.Fived and faved!

  • I was lucky enough to see them at Terrastock & in Nov. in Louisville,KY. The Grails are by far one of my favorite bands. They transcend all genres and their music can be simple and very complex at the same time. (I hope that made sense). I highly recommend seeing them live!! I hope they tour in Louisville agin next time!!

  • The many times I've gotten high to this song and to GRAILS in general. Amazing band, amazing music, Emil Amos is a musical legend.

Can't wait to hopefully see em next year in may :).

  • Funny, I was just checking out this band for the first time and I was thinking to myself, "I bet this would be terrifying to listen to high"

  • Nah mate, Grails are one the best bands to listen too when your gettin' high, it really chill's you out and takes your mind of everything, especially this song ;)

  • Yeah, I guess I meant terrifying in a good way. If that makes sense.

This is one of the first bands that I've seen pull off the intense and chill sound at the same time.

  • exactly. listen to them the very first time. holy sound...

  • @doomreaperambient I found these songs on youtube and put them in a playlist. Didn't include rosetta because I didn't care for the screaming I heard in part 2: youtube(dot)com/watch?v=iKF1xvd5AF4&playnext=1&list=PL35763147B2D27848
