Some people that because of the natural explusion of CO2 into the atomosphere the climate will naturally warm. Others believe that we are head for an ice age and the tipping of the poles. People are not in agreement. There is an awful lot, tons, of research to go through to make sweeping, definitive statements.

Switching poles has nothing to do with this, that happens naturally. The idea is increases in fresh water messes with the oceans, causing a change in the gulf and thus decreasing warm water...

@kaysandesses That's not true. Volcanoes spit our more carbon dioxide than cars. Many of the main stream scientific research is conflicting. Some people that because of the natural explusion of CO2 into the atomosphere the climate will naturally warm. Others believe that we are head for an ice age and the tipping of the poles. People are not in agreement. There is an awful lot, tons, of research to go through to make sweeping, definitive statements.

There is disagreement on what the long term effects are. Warming periods have led to cooling periods, its all on what gulf stream changes will happen. Switching poles has nothing to do with this, that happens naturally. The idea is increases in fresh water messes with the oceans, causing a change in the gulf and thus decreasing warm water...

What happens in the future is up to debate. But debating over whether its going to be hot or freezing only means 1 thing, we are screwed.
