I live in Illinois and just recently discovered we have a ton of Quakers Parrots. The first nest I seen was about 20 miles from my house, but I found about 15 more nests just 4 miles from my house! I wish I could get them to move a few miles down the road!! I love to watch them and to listen to them talking to each other. They do well in the winter here and that just totally amazes me!!
Those parrots are sure cute. I'm from Singapore and we have feral Rainbow Lorikeets, Goffin's Cockatoos, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and lots and lots of Moustached Parakeets here.
A gentle, non-flashy gift: not entertaining as such, but moving, and sensitively, respectfully done. Leaves one calm and happy , with a sense that despite the odds... we (including these wonderful quaker parrots) are gonna make it. Thank you, and I will watch the other segments of your safari.
I hope nobody wants to kill these birds! I enjoyed watching them in Florida recently, but my videos aren't as good as yours. You put a lot of work into it.
Glad you enjoyed it. This series is produced to give viewers a glimpse at these wonderful birds in the wild. I can't imagine people wanting to kill them.
