i think its just the huge stress of a tour, singing night after night. I dont think her voice is up for it yet. She does great at these one night concerts, and tv appearances. I personally still love her voice, hoarse or not. She sounds fine to me, and i think her true fans are there with me on that.

In performances like this n some in 08 u can hear Whitney's tone from like 98 - 2004 but now she sounds very different.. I was wonderin if she has had any surgery or something coz she's never sounded like now :/

Whitney sounds OK, but this is a far cry from her 1994 Grammy Days. That scratch in her voice reminds me of Dionne Warwick, her cousin. Cigarette smoking is terrible for the voice. Who is going to pay good money to hear such a diminished singer?
